Junior Classes

$10 Drop-In Per Child
Every Monday from 7pm - 8pm.

Have your child socialize with others through the welcoming sport of ping pong. From reviewing the fundamentals to honing elite technique, all skill levels and ages are welcome and encouraged. Whether casual or competitive, your child is sure to look forward to Monday night classes at Spin & Smash.

$10 Drop-In Per Adult
Every Monday from 8pm - 9pm.

Take your table tennis skills to the next level with weekly group lessons led by Coach Dave Fullen. Make community while learning the theory and tactics of competitive table tennis in a fun and encouraging environment. Kids who participate in Junior Classes play free while parents are in Adult Classes.

Tuesday Doubles
League

Spin & Smash has started a NEW weekly doubles league running every Tuesday at 7pm. Never too late to start. We encourage anyone looking to learn how to play in doubles format to attend; prior experience and playing partner not required!

You can drop in day-of or call Dave for availability at 614-937-1626.

how it works

  • Come with a playing partner or alone; single players will be paired together. YOU CAN HAVE A DIFFERENT PARTNER WEEK-TO-WEEK, so if your usual partner can't make it you can still participate.
  • Pairs' initial ratings are the sum of individuals' USATT or estimated ratings. Progress will be tracked weekly based on league results. 
  • 1-2 round robin groups depending on players/teams, split by ratings.
  • Play begins at 7pm.
  • 25% “Spin & Smash Cash” pay-out in prize money for 1st and 2nd place teams (60-40 split).
  • No 10-week commitment – drop in to play when you’re able. Cost is $10 per person / $20 per team.

Wednesday Advanced-Beginner Junior Workshops (Under Age 18)

Spin & Smash is offering weekly 90-minute workshop classes for kids who are at an ‘Advanced Beginner’ level. Classes will run every Wednesday at 7pm. We encourage any student who wants hands-on guidance and technique advice to attend!
 
Feel free to drop in or call Dave for availability at 614-937-1626.
    • Class Hours: Class will run on Wednesdays from 7pm – 8:30pm.
    • Workshops will offer tailored advice on table tennis fundamentals including:
      • How to make the ball spin
      • Serving & receiving serves
      • Ball placement
      • Stroke technique
    • Led By: Coaches Anwen Harris & Xavier Escobar
    • Pricing: $15 per week per participant, or $125 for 10 weeks of class.
Note: We will be offering another structured 10-week course on ‘Advanced-Beginner’ fundamentals in the near future. Stay tuned!

As a member of USA Table Tennis, we are also dedicated to the training and education of players and coaches in the Olympic sport of table tennis through professional coaching, online learning, tournaments, world class equipment, and promotion of fair play on and off the court.
