Equip for Equality’s mission is to advance the human and civil rights of children and adults with disabilities in Illinois. To be served by Equip for Equality, you have to have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  Under the ADA, you have a disability if you have a mental or physical impairment that substantially limits a major life activity.
