This understated corner pub on Elia Street has been a favourite in N1 ever since it opened over 170 years ago.

Inside you’ll find an intriguing selection of guest ales and a varied selection of quality wines. The green decor and homely feel makes the bar area a light and airy setting for a mid-day pint, and the food menu is pretty tempting after a few affordable glasses of Cotes Du Rhones too; the kitchen serves up a selection of well-executed pub favourites, but it’s the charcuterie sharing boards where it really excels.

The charming setting is a great place to enjoy it all, and makes The Charles Lamb one of the most-favoured pubs in Islington.
