Matrimony

The sacrament of Matrimony is truly a sacred occasion for Catholics. It is a covenant between a man and a woman who promise to love each other as Christ loves the Church. This means that the love between husband and wife is sacrificial, selfless, and enduring. It is a bond that is meant to last a lifetime.

"For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one."
Matthew 19:5
