Timothy

- Head Chef Timothy is a fun and generous person who has always had a passion to serve people "good food." He is a sushi chef with over 19 years of experience in the DC area, including Michelin 1-star "Sushi Taro," which serves traditional Japanese cuisine. He learned the sushi craft under many reputable Sensei, including chef Noriaki Yasutake, chef Nobu Yamazaki, and chef Morou Ouattara. Timothy also found his talent and love for creating unique and one-of-a-kind rolls, which has brought him many awards, including one at the Sushi Society competition in Bethesda, MD, in 2014. It has always been his dream to one day own his own restaurant and bring good quality food, especially Japanese food, to the local Virginia area. This is how Sushi Koji came to be.




Anya

 - Hall Manager Meet Anya, our vibrant Hall Manager at Sushi Koji. She has many talents in areas outside her scope of practice as a manager, which is why she is so lovable. Anya is an active social influencer in the Thai community and is also a trained pastry chef with expertise in pastry decoration. She is also a talented musician, playing both the violin and piano. Anya holds a special place at Sushi Koji as one of the founding members who continuously seeks innovative ways to enhance and ensure the dining experience for everyone.









Songyee

 - Media Director Songyee loves to eat and tell about it. She is a perfect addition to Sushi Koji, managing our social media and guest services. She has great positive energy and a great sense of style, which helps brighten up everything she is involved in.
