Came here on a double date and was not disappointed, had the Tomahawk with blue cheese sauce and it was amazing, cooked to perfection, good selection of wine that matched the meat! Staff were very attentive, best part was when they cooked the fat with the char kway teow, tasted crazily amazing! Definitely coming back again
Had the duck pasta and chicken wings. Not worth the while. Expensive with poor portions. The chicken wings portion worked out to be rm5ish per piece and tasted blah. Definitely not a food place.
Food was average and price resonable but nothing to shout about. The service staff needs a bit more training as their English were very difficult to understand.
Didn't I just praise them a month ago?? This recent visit wasn't amazing. We had the Sher Wagyu which was a bad cut, far off from Kobe Cuisine wagyu which was a lot more tender. Staffs were also terrible - only trying to push people to purchase the tomahawk and when we didn't want it their faces changed. One of the waiter could not even pour wine properly without messing up our entire white table cloth! Another instance when I already kept my cultery and had a serviette on my plate, the staff wanted to put my cutlery back to the original place and remove the serviette so I could "reuse" my plate. You must be joking, are you THAT lazy to change my plate??? Who on earth would allow you to remove a serviette and reuse when it's already ON the plate? Gosh.. it shows that when you don't order what they want you to order the service is basically crap... We had quite a medium priced wine (wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but it definitely wasn't cheap), not the most expensive cut, and we got such treatment. When we didn’t wanna order more she just kept pushing more dishes and face turned black when I didn’t went to. Much later we told them to cancel the pasta as we really could not eat anymore but they refused to because it’s already “prepared” when we told them not to until we give them the green light. Later on they agreed to cancel. Seriously, I love the oven/kitchen but your staffs needs to be trained to serve, not to be money minded.. They push all they can, are they getting incentive for this or? Their behaviour totally annoyed me so I’m not sure if there will be a next.. And please don’t ever have the portobello. It’s horribly tiny and the tiniest portobello I’ve ever seen, maybe I’m used to cooking those I’ve got in the UK so these are pathetically tiny for the price they charge!
Good family restaurants. Had the tomahawk. Nice, hv tasted better tho. Reasonable price for a tomahawk.
