Description
This product is a Power Point presentation that may be used by a teacher to guide his/her lecture. It may also be provided directly to students (in which case, I recommend editing it to remove the animations and then downloading it as a PDF file). This presentation covers the following concepts / terms:
Understand the reasons for and process of legally ending a marriage (separation, divorce, annulment, spousal abuse, irreconcilable differences)
Understand the financial issues related to ending a marriage and living together as a couple (alimony, prenuptial agreement, cohabitation agreement, palimony)
Examine the legal issues surrounding children when a marriage ends (custody, joint custody, child support)
This presentation aligns with Learnings Target 6, 7 and 8 taught during my Family Law Unit in my Introduction to American Law class. Please see my store for that unit's overview, study guide, and test if you're interested :). All of my materials are also offered in Google-Classroom compatible format.
