Description
My students loved the story "Chac Mool". Students read it when I introduced them to the Mesoamerica unit (ties in nicely). Chac Mool is the rain god of the Mayan civilization. Therefore, I like to preteach Mayan culture before reading Chac Mool.
OJO ALL items are in PDF format.
I worked with the Art teacher and students created their own Chac Mool made out of clay. Great way to connect subjects. Principal was very pleased : ) We showcased the Chac Mools in the main entrance display cases for Hispanic Heritage Month.
