Description
An hour-long lesson with a focus on eating disorders, misconceptions and links to mental health. The lesson is sensitively planned, so gives no information on how sufferers perpetuate their disorders, but clearly signposts how friends can alert authorities (teachers/guardians) appropriately if they are concerned and where we can go for further information. The lesson also shares advice on how we can support people suffering from eating disorders, as well as why EDs often affect people in their teenage years. Students will complete paired tasks, literacy and clip tasks, creative tasks and more.
