Description
This is a short, interactive, and student-driven lesson that is perfect for early finishers, substitute days, or as a way to add some history to an existing project. Students will learn about Vivian Maier, street photography, and how she viewed the world. There are links to all information and a short set of questions to check understanding. In addition, students will complete a guided visual analysis of one of Vivian Maier's images.
Students will need access to the internet to complete the activity.
I've included "master copies" so that you can further customize the lesson to your needs.
This lesson would also complement a unit on street photography!
