Description
In this project, students pick a painting from the German-speaking world. They will have to find the name of the painting, who the artist is, add German words describing what's in the painting, write sentences about the colors in the painting, and then create their own version of the painting.

This piggy backs off of my activities German Art Stations (my students pick from the paintings in this activity) and German Art Ratings. This project is designed to go along with a Color unit and is meant for my 7th grade German Exploration students with limited language; if you are looking for a more advanced version of this project, I would instead recommend my Discussing Works of Art activity.
