Les Ailes de Rauzan-Gassies, second wine of Château Rauzan-Gassies Second Grand Cru Classé in 1855, is essentially produced from the young vines of the Château.
Deep ruby in the glass, some sediment. It reveals quite an elegant aroma full of mulberry, black plum, cherry, and vanilla with notes of cedar and dried leaves. On the palate, it’s mostly about black fruit, chocolate, and cherry plus overwhelming, in a good way, oak barrel. Pleasant medium finish.
