L'Oulibo
Lucques du Languedoc

€7.95

200g

Lucques olives are fleshy and tender. Also called green diamond, this variety of olive presents a distinctive crescent moon’s shape, and has been produced exclusively in Languedoc Roussillon for several centuries. Harvested by hand by olive growers, they are soft, fruity and tonic with a slight crisp flesh, and a unique mild taste of buttery hazelnut.

L’Oulibo is a cooperative created in 1942 and located in the village of Bize Minervois, in the Occitanie region of France. More than a 1,000 members who are scattered in the départements of Aude, Hérault, and Pyrénées-Orientales bring their olives (Lucques, Bouteillan, Olivière, Picholine and Aglandau varieties) to the cooperative, which produces various products from olive oil to soap. These members conduct environmentally friendly farming and they ensure the expansion, and sustainability of olive-growing in Occitanie.
