A highlight of the seven-time Nascar Cup Series champion's warehouse is the first motorbike he drove at the age of four.

Johnson was given the 1979 Suzuki JR50 as a Christmas present.

"I rode it that afternoon and it was the first vehicle I raced," Johnson told Graham Besinger.

"Not only did I obviously learn to ride on this thing, but my two younger brothers and my nephew."

Johnson also has the four-wheel vehicle Johnson raced, a little Superlite, which is where he "got his start."

The most famous vehicle Johnson owns is the Baja 1000 truck he infamously crashed in the mountains of Mexico in 1994.

Johnson nearly died after falling asleep behind the wheel while leading nearly 900 miles and more than 20 hours into the famed event.

"I fell asleep around 3 in the morning...I was driving 90 miles per hour at the time," Johnson wrote in Newsweek.

"This was in the mountains – I was working my way out of a mountain range and was finally on a straight road.

"That's when I just dozed off. I was in high gear.

"When I fell asleep, I let off the throttle. I was still coasting but at a very high pace.

"When I woke up, I realized there was a turn in front of me, and there was no way I was going to get the vehicle to stop. I went off the road, and I hit a really big rock.

"The rock just flipped my truck around, and it started somersaulting in the air.

"I landed and flipped and tumbled. It was a very bad wreck."

Johnson has had the truck restored and looking exactly as it was when he raced it.

The Nascar legend also has some classic cars, including a 1967 Chevy Camaro SS and a Ford woodie wagon.

There is even a 1951 Mercury with shaved door handles and a set of fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview mirror.

Not all the cars in the garage belong to Johnson – there is also a 1959 Beetle, which belongs to his wife.
