Growing up, I always had a passion for the outdoors. Residing on Long Island for most of my life, I was gifted with the picturesque landscapes of the north shore to the sandy seaside landscapes of the south shore. These landscapes heighten my appreciation for what the natural world has to offer.

I have always considered myself fortunate to find employment in the horticultural industry. I started early on, working as an associate in the garden center industry. I had the privilege of seeing first hand how gardening can bring happiness to an individual. I also have had the privilege of meeting some interesting and innovative individuals moving the industry forward. Their knowledge and insight ignited my passion to shape the horticultural field.

Many of these individuals put quality ahead of quantity and allowed the gardener to achieve an aesthetic that was unparalleled. The unfortunate part was that most of their hard work was not reaching the end user. Coupled with the escalating loss of the local independent garden center. These independent garden centers act as a portal to connect the local gardener to a vast network of growers and quality horticultural material. To make matters worse, the void was in my own backyard. So with encouragement from family and friends I sought out to change this…

In 2016, The Gardeners Market was founded with a simple mission. Connect our local community to quality landscape supply coupled with resourceful knowhow & information. As a company we strive everyday to provide the finest sourced horticultural material from the same growers who are pushing our industry forward.
