With extensive knowledge, education, creativity & individuality, you will get the results you're looking for! Jennifer Spottswood
Meet Jen, one of our owners at The Standard! She is a New Orleans Native and LSU grad who moved to Houston in 2001. Being a mom of 3 (Ava 15, Ella 13 & Luke 9) keeps her very busy! However, that didn’t stop her from pursuing her passion. She focuses her energy and passion on hair transformations by creating healthy, on-trend color and extension palettes that work best for each client’s unique needs. She’s a typical girly girl who enjoys decorating, is addicted to online shopping, starbs, and self care regimens. During her free time, you’ll find her decompressing at home with her family or having dinner and drinks with those closest to her.
Her specialties include color, hand tied hair extensions (certified IBE -Invisible Bead Extensions stylist), cuts, airbrush makeup, spray tans and Scalp Micro Pigmentation (SMP). She is a firm believer that when you look good, you feel good. When you leave her chair you’ll feel beautiful, refreshed and educated on how to keep you and your hair looking and feeling amazing! Jayme Moreau
Meet our fabulous co-owner of The Standard, Jayme! She has been in the industry for over 20 years and absolutely loves being behind the chair. Her life-long dream of owning a salon finally came true and she is loving every minute of it! Jayme prides herself in helping others feel confident and beautiful! Her specialties include color, women’s and men’s cuts, lash extensions and hand tied hair extensions. Whether you're a blonde or brunette she's got you covered.
