The Little Refill Shop Ltd brings the Zero Waste concept to Seaham and East Durham.
We will work with suppliers to minimise the use of plastic in our supply chain. We actively source produce with the minimum mileage possible, only buying from overseas where no cost effective alternative is available closer, and we are confident the product is sustainable and ethically managed.
By encouraging customers to reuse their own containers we provide an opportunity to reduce packaging waste. Being able to buy a quantity of their choosing also allows the opportunity to try new foods, reduce food waste and manage on a tight budget.
We have a wide range of nuts, seeds, pulses, grains, cereals and dried fruits. We also stock herbs and spices alongside locally produced tea and coffee.
Our non-food offering includes soaps, shampoo bars, deodorants, dental care products. We use eco-leaf refills for laundry, washing-up and fabric conditioner.
We also stock CSP and have a good range of non-paper towels, family cloth, dish scrubbies, make-up wipes and cutlery rolls.
