- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge according to how much stuff you're moving or how much stuff is being thrown away. In addition to our labor costs I factor in the charge for the dump site and truck usage. So I charge a flat rate vs hourly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask what exactly do they need done. I take inventory of what they have. Then I ask how soon does it need to be done? House or apartment building? Stairs or elevator? Do you need assistance in packing? Do you need us to provide supplies? I come up with an estimate then I discuss it with the client and see if that estimate works for them. I make adjustments accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have strong customer skills. I've worked in retail and hospitality so I know how to talk to people and figure out their needs. I'm good at making people feel comfortable and heard. I take pride in that.
