I didn't like anything about this apartment. It fell short of my expectations in all areas. It looked like it had been sparsely furnished with donated furniture, appliances and kitchenware. I cannot believe I paid $380USD per night to stay in this uncomfortable and filthy dump. I've never been so disappointed in an apartment rental as I have been with NOZAWA ONSEN BASECAMP. I want my money back! I thought I had booked a nice two room apartment with western beds and a bright, shiny, clean kitchen. But, no! This apartment had some wornout, uncomfortable tatami mats on the floor, old bedding (with blood stained pillows) and a absolutely disgusting and filthy kitchen that contained a number of safety hazards, due to the extermly dirty and greasy gas burners (with aluminum foil protecting the wall) and a number of high amperage kitchen appliances plugged in (via extension cord) to one electrical outlet. Also, there was a bug infestation in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. Given the amount of leftover, open bags of sugar, creamer and other sundry items in the kitchen, it's not difficult to determine why there was a bug problem. Needless to say, none of us wanted to cook anything. Be sure and check out my enclosed photos for photo proof of the abysmal state of this totally overpriced and filthy apartment rental!

We stayed here during the Autumn and We can only imagine how nice it is when the big snows come. So close to the lifts you could walk. Was a wonderful location to explore Nozawaonsen.. and it’s many Onsen and restaurants. The place was both modern and classic, had all the modern amenities while a classic charm as well. Highly recommend

We loved staying here!! The perfect location (very short walk to town, onsens & gondola) and had all the things to make it feel like a home away from home! Will definitely book again!

Stayed for 10 days and love it! Apptmnt was warm and spacious. Jason as host was very helpful.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our accommodation. Let me say, they did so without fuss, very professional opporation. Great communication, very professional. We will book with you again next year for sure.

ไปมาเมื่อเดือนมกราคม...ห้องไม่เหมือนที่จองใน Booking เพราะมีเตียง และที่นอนแบบญี่ปุ่น...แต่ที่ได้มาคือ ที่นอนแบบญี่ปุ่นอย่างเดียว...ตู้เย็น มีของอยู่ในนั้นค้างจากครั้งไหนก็ไม่รู้ คือสกปรกมาก...ในห้องไม่ต่อยมีอะไรเลย ครัวที่เห็นในภาพ booking...คือคนละเรื่องเลย... ครีมอาบน้ำ ยาสระผม ก้อคือ ไม่เติมให้เต็ม เหลือไม่พอใข้สามคน...ต้องเอาของส่วนตัวมาใช้...ที่บนชั้นวางของในครัว คือสกปรกมาก..มีครีมเทียมเปิดทิ้งไว้ โหลกาแฟ ที่ไม่เคยบ้างเลย...เตาอบนี่ น่าขยะแขยงมาก...ถ้าจะต้องไป Nozawa onzen อีก...จะไม่ย่างกายไปที่นี่เลย...😬😬😬
