chose
to
consult
Dr
Muhilan
for
my
plan
to
undergo
circumcision,
since
he
was
the
only
Urologist
in
KL
that
had
amazing
reviews
on
google.
During
my
first
consultation,
Dr
Muhilan
explained
the
procedure
very
patiently
and
gave
me
the
time
to
think
through
and
ask
questions.
He
also
threw
light
on
multiple
scenarios
based
on
my
case
that
I
had
no
clue
about.
Including
topics
like
-
can
I
keep
or
remove
my
frenulum,
surgical
glue
vs
stitching,
general
vs
local
anesthesia,
insurance
coverage,
what
type
of
cut
is
best
recommended
for
long
term
benefit,
healing
&
recovery
process,
how
much
pain
to
expect
and
so
on.
Dr
Muhilan
provided
me
with
enough
information
during
my
1st
consultation
to
decide
to
go
ahead
with
the
surgery.
He
also
assured
that
I
will
not
feel
any
pain
during
or
after
the
surgery.
I
was
given
Nurse
Hanis’s
phone
number,
to
co-ordinate
my
appointment
for
surgery,
work
with
insurance
and
ask
any
questions
before
or
after
surgery.
On
the
day
of
the
surgery,
admission
was
a
quick
and
easy
process
and
the
room
provided
in
the
hospital
for
recovery
was
neat,
tidy,
with
a
very
clean
toilet
and
a
TV.
The
nurses
and
staff
were
all
very
cheerful,
chatty
and
ready
to
help.
The
anesthesiologist
was
also
very
friendly,
and
she
explained
her
side
of
the
procedure
clearly.
General
anesthesia
puts
you
to
sleep,
so
there
is
no
pain
at
all
during
the
procedure.
They
also
block
your
nerves,
so
you
wake
up
and
go
home
with
no
pain
whatsoever.
I
can
say
that
I
had
zero
pain
during
surgery
&
recovery
just
how
the
doctor
had
assured.
Post
the
surgery,
I
woke
up
in
the
recovery
room,
the
nurses
got
me
lunch
and
later
dinner,
they
will
get
you
your
choice
of
coffee
or
food
from
Starbucks
or
food
court
in
case
you
request.
I
was
handed
a
good
supply
of
anti
biotics,
painkillers,
and
other
medicines
and
dressing
which
the
pharmacist
duly
explained.
I
was
able
to
get
dressed
and
walk
out
of
the
hospital
without
any
help,
get
into
a
car
on
the
passenger
side
and
go
home
like
normal,
the
same
day
of
surgery.
The
recovery
time
is
6
weeks,
but
I
had
fully
recovered
in
4
and
I
was
very
happy
with
the
way
it
turned
out
aesthetically.
I
have
to
commend
Dr
Muhalan
for
taking
so
much
care
to
get
the
surgery
done
in
a
perfect
fashion.
He
made
his
phone/whatsapp
available
to
me
during
the
recovery
process
in
case
I
had
any
doubts.
Hospital
&
Insurance:
I
had
insurance
from
AIA,
and
I
paid
nothing
out
of
my
pocket
for
the
entire
procedure
as
insurance
covered
the
full
cost
of
5425.15
MYR.
I
was
asked
to
put
a
deposit
of
500
MYR,
if
I
wanted
to
leave
the
hospital
early
before
the
insurance
has
cleared
out
my
payment,
and
I
chose
to
leave
early.
I
found
the
RM
500
was
deposited
back
to
my
account
the
very
next
day
before
I
could
even
think
of
reminding
the
Hospital.
I
have
huge
respect
for
a
hospital
that
returns
cash
back
to
patients
so
fast.
I
found
Thompson
hospital
a
very
friendly
and
easy
hospital
to
deal
with.
They
were
very
cautious
during
the
covid
times
and
had
stringent
checks
for
COVID
very
early
even
before
the
lockdown
in
Malaysia.
They
have
a
decent
food
court
and
a
Starbucks
within
their
premises.
The
hospital
was
prompt
with
insurance,
payment,
and
returns.
I
will
fully
recommend
Dr
Muhilan
for
any
urology
concerns
you
may
have.
