The Athenaeum Smart Hotel is a laid-back property with complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi and comfortable rooms. The hotel is situated in an easygoing neighbourhood and has a relaxed atmosphere.

That was our first time in Greece. The hotel was really nice, clean and the staff was very professional too. Especially Ioanna: she has a very bright and warm personality - you will feel very comfortable with her - and always ready to help us with anything. She help us not only with our room, but also helped us to book our ferry for an island trip, she even called the bus company for us to make sure about the public transportation's schedule in an other island + shared with us her recommendations: what to see, where to eat. I can totally recommend this hotel, and that professional staff.
Excellent hotel near the center of Athens. The staff was very friendly and helpful in organizing and recommending tips for our outings.
You cannot have guests and at the same time a party on the hotel terrace. On the 6th and 7th floors it was not possible to sleep until 1 o'clock

The massage therapist at Ministry of Massage by Athens Massage & Yoga Academy is a highly skilled professional who provides unforgettable massages. She is friendly and makes you feel welcome, and her treatments are truly amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly relaxing massage.

I had the best massage in my life here. Nick is so very skillful and passionate at what he does! I have back injuries after the constant walking during my vacation in Greece and never have I ever felt so much relief after the massage!
My friend and I booked last minute massages after walking around all day, and oh boy!!! They brought us back to life!! And note , we both get massages often enough to compare. And the staffs are amazing, felt as if I made friends after visiting this place!! You wont regret, just book them whether you need a massage or not! The best of the Best!!!!! ♡♡♡♡♡
I was with Ministry of Massage in november 2021. It was my best experience in massage in my life. I was so lucky that I got a deep tissue massage with a wonderful proffesional therapist. Her name I dont remember but I will definitely recommend and I will be there again the next time I will be in Athens

The Electra Palace Hotel in Athens is a beautifully decorated property with its own spa and fitness center. With excellent views of the Acropolis and Plaka, the hotel is perfect for visitors looking for quality accommodation in the city center.

Beautiful hotel and great service. All staff were very accommodating & offered great advice for exploring the city. We felt very safe during our stay. The view of the acropolis from the pool & restaurant was a great addition to our experience!
The rooms are comfortable the staff is supportive and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms doesn’t have good view unless you got the room with view. We enjoyed our stay here it is in plaka and safe neighborhood. The offer water for our baby and taxi rides every time we are out. We enjoyed staying here. Just little info the hotel is old but you won’t feel it :)
The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the plaza and close to the acropolis. The rooms are ok as they are dated with small bathrooms. It is also an older building so the walls are thin and noise can be an issue. The rooftop is a great place to have breakfast and drinks. A good short stay but would not stay long term.

The Hotel Grande Bretagne is a five-star luxury hotel in Athens, Greece. It overlooks some of the city's biggest highlights and features 320 guest rooms that come individually designed. The hotel's spa is an award-winning sanctuary with everything from ayurvedic therapies to eye treatments available to book.

The staff are so welcoming, friendly, helping and very available to any request or problem. I had to quarantine here and I asked for 1 towel, they brought me 5 towels. I ordered room service and got extra water bottle, bread and plates. The room is tidy, comfortable, fresh and luxurious. The view from the rooftop is beautiful! All in all, I really enjoy my stay here. thanks for the hotel staff!
The Hotels security is incompetent. They have no idea of their own let alone government requirements in relation to Covid. I strongly suggest the person educates herself on her governments own website and hotel policy. Apparently Australian is part of the EU, news to me. I bet the Australian Government would surprised as well. Apparently the five other countries I have travelled to prior to coming to their Hotel for a few cocktails have absolutely no idea of their own requirements, because they let me in with no issues. I have been vaccinated more than three times and provided the same documents to five other countries let alone over 100 shops in those separate countries and have been accepted in all of them, yet I cannot come into their establishment for a couple of cocktails because she is not happy with what the Australian Government has provided me to prove my vaccination proof. After being embarrassed by this person, I provided her with a document that she has no right to view to prove to her that I have been vaccinated more than three times, with the last being in December of 2021. After providing this she AGAIN wanted to see my id and or passport after already seeing the documents. Now she was just pushing it !! Welcome to one of the most prestigious establishments in Greece !! I have been in Law Enforcement for many years and to encounter this was a new experience, I would interpret this to be a targeted approach against an Australian or that’s what it appeared to be. Either that or this person just wanted to try and embarrass two people who have collectively been involved in law enforcement and security for over 20 years. NOT IMPRESSED!!!
We choose this hotel because of the pool. But this one was closed in April, despite the beautiful weather. I had booked a room with a view of the city. We had a view of a wall ( see the photo). In compensation, the hotel offered us a fruit basket and a late check out. But it gave us neither the view nor the access to the pool. The rest was perfect.

Mf Day Spa is a beautiful and relaxing salon. Their staff is professional and kind, and the environment is perfect for relaxation. They offer a wide variety of services that are perfect for anyone looking to have some peace and tranquility.

I had a massage. The massage room is not big but nice and has a nice aroma (I guess it was a massage oil). It also has a toilet and bathroom and a place where you can change your cloth. А masseur made a great job! Give her a raise!<3 She was relaxing, polite, and professional. Also, a lady at reception was pleasant and nice. I would highly recommend this place. It is worth it!
Excellent service at MF DAY SPA.. extremely friendly staff. Everyone had a smile and super polite. Grace is fantastic. 🤓 I will definitely visit them again on my next visit to Athens. I would recommend it to anyone.
We came from France and we wanted to have some relaxation so we went for a spa couple in Mf Day Spa. The environment was beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very kind and professional. We were very pleased and all was perfect. I would 100% recommand this spa

The Herodion Hotel is a stylish hotel in the quiet residential area of Athens that champions Athens expansive history while offering you a fresh and modern stay during your time in the city. The rooms have a smart design with great functionality in the space, while the hotel offers a great array of benefits, including complimentary in-room breakfasts, 24-hour concierge service and laptop or tablets available to book through the front desk.

Definitely smaller rooms but enjoyed the balcony. The service was great, they were super helpful. Very close to the Acropolis and Plaka. The breakfast included was so good! The rooftop terrace was amazing. We spent all of our chill time after walking and sight seeing there and it was a great addition.
Great location on a quiet street nearby all tourist attractions. Lobby/bar and rooftop is a big plus. We had a room on floor 1 with view to “inner yard”, ok room quality but not great overall due to the floor. Breakfast is okay/good. Very service minded staff.
Overall Evaluation - The hotel is in a very convenient location to the Acropolis and the museum. There were plenty of food and shopping options nearby as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was the kind of service you expect from a top-notch hotel! Front Desk Services - Excellent! We had an issue with the roof of our bathroom being too short for my 6 foot 5 inch tall son, and they changed our room right away! Guest Room Environment - The rooms were clean and nice. The bed was comfy as were the pillows. Room Service & Mini Bar Services - did not use these services. We only ate at the restaurant for breakfast and it was a good spread (buffet). We did not use the lounge or Roof Garden Services, but they did look very nice and welcoming. How did you travel to Herodion Hotel - Plane and then taxi. What was the feature that mostly impressed you during your stay - The location and the rooftop Was there a feature that disappointed you during your stay? The "hot" tub was not hot at all. I assume in the summer, it does not matter, but it would still be a "luke warm" tub in the summer. Would you return to Herodion Hotel? - YES! Would you recommend Herodion Hotel to friends? YES!

The Royal Olympic Hotel is a 5-star hotel with direct views of some of Athens' most iconic landmarks. It's popular with tourists for its location close to the Acropolis and other historical sites, as well as its excellent facilities including a pool and rooftop restaurant.

Lovely exterior of the hotel with a classy foyer. Greeted with politeness at each encounter with reception. Good location to commute around, great view of the temple in front. Rooms are however dated, the standard room is better than the deluxe but note that the same room type can come in different sizes depending on the room you're allocated on the day. Some bathrooms are very nice, some are not. Balcony can have a nice view but luck of the draw as we faced a large wall with graffiti. The gym is most certainly not state of the art, with very very limited equipment. The gym is also in a garage behind the building in an unlit area and not within the hotel complex. Breakfast is good if classed as continental but very limited hot choices on a daily basis. On some days they did not want to join 2 tables together for our family of 6.
I don’t know why the rating for this hotel is so high on Google. The standard rooms are not bad, but they are completely overpriced and this hotel does not deserve a five star rating at all. Maybe it did in 1992, or whenever the rooms were last redone, but now there are so many small things that are not working, and that are just not acceptable for a hotel of that standard. The view from the restaurant terrace on the roof is amazing, thats true, but that is about it. The staff is really not friendly, and sometimes even rude. This is a classical example of a hotel where you pay for location, but if you care a little bit about the place that you stay in, I would recommend looking for another place that has freshened up over the past two decades, and where you actually get value for money.
We stayed at this hotel before and it was a nice experience in a very good location. Our next booking was for July 2022 and unfortunately we had to cancel 3 months in advance because my wife is in advanced stage of cancer and we will not make it. The hotel in their wisdom has decided not to refund our accommodation charge, which I find obscene.

The Athens 1890 Boutique Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of Agia Irini Square, is a luxurious, zen-inspired crashpad that's close to all the buzzy action of Agia Irini Square. The hotel faces directly across from the majestic Agia Irini Cathedral. It has a beautiful experience for aesthetes.

    Beautiful experience
Lovely hotel in a very central location, the jacuzzi was nice and the staff is very friendly, but there are a quite few improvements needed. Elevator didnt work when we arrived and we were on the 4th floor; it was later fixed luckily. Hot water didnt work because they forgot to turn the boiler on; had to wait until the next morning to shower. On the morning of our checkout we wanted to sleep in (checkout at 12) yet the cleaner still came at 10am and woke us up while we were in bed. Theres no sign to be placed on the door and you cant lock the door from the inside so anyone can come in if they have a keycard. Lots of potential, but a few inexperienced mistakes.
(Translated by Google) Very nice, clean hotel with very courteous staff. We had room 301 and there was a thick ventilation system on the outside wall, which ran very loudly from 8.00 am to 11.45 pm and brought with it the smell of food. Otherwise everything great. Thanks very much (Original) Sehr schönes, sauberes Hotel mit sehr zuvokommenden Mitarbeitern. Wir hatten Zimmer 301 und an der Außenwand war ein dicke Lüftungsanlage, die ab 8.00 bis 23.45 sehr laut lief und Essensgeruch mit sich brachte. Sonst alles top. Vielen Dank

The Athens Utopia Ermou hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a modern and chic venue in the center of the city. The hotel has comfortable and stylish rooms, a great location, and helpful staff. It's also a popular spot for business travelers thanks to its excellent facilities and professional service.

After waiting for a bit as the receptionist was extremely patient with a customer who was making no sense whatsoever we were given a suite which was fantastic. Lovely friendly place to stay, rooms quiet and spacious. Great facilities, highly recommended.
Great hotel in a fab location within easy walking distance of the Acropolis and Sygmanta Square. Most of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had the most amazing view of the Acropolis. Slight niggle that there wasn't as much choice for breakfast the later you went down. If breakfast is served until 10.30 am, the same needs to be available at 10 am than 8 am.
Going up for the rooftop if you are a guest of the hotel is not allowed if you will not order anything. The hotel is marketed as having a nice rooftop, but in actuality these are two separate businesses and sometimes you will find tables reserved. They are separate businesses. Even if you are going for a 3 min cigarette, even this it is not allowed. The staff can be very rude about it and it would be nice to have some sort of a privilege to have the freedom to go up stairs for a cigarette if you are staying in the hotel.

Sixt is a car rental company with polite, friendly and helpful staff in the Athens office. They have a great experience overall with their Opel Corsa rental.

Great experience overall. We rented an Opel Corsa for two days in the Athens office. The people in the office were super nice and quite fast. We had to make a 100 euro deposit and received it back within two days. Honestly, the best experience that I have had renting a car.
You can park directly in front of office for check in, everything went well and fast.
We rented a CDMR category car for 5 days. During the second day of our journey in central Greece, a check engine warning light turned on; nevertheless the car was operating just fine. We immediately contacted the company and within a few hours they brought us a replacement car for precautionary reasons, even though we were around 300 km away and even though that particular day was a Greek public holiday! Polite, friendly and very helpful staff in the Syngrou Avenue office, I would definitely rent a car from these guys again!

The steam bath in Athens is a great experience, comparable to ones found in Istanbul. It has healing properties and can be optionally complemented with massage and other treatments by experts. The main complaint is that the round slab is small, limiting the number of people who can use it at the same time.

Great place if you want a Hammam! People are lovely, place is beautiful, prices are good and you really have time to relax either during the Hammam or after with a great cup of tea! The people there are also lovely! I had forgotten my watch in the changing rooms and they were kind enough to not only send my batch back to Belgium but also to pay the shipping costs! Cannot thank them enough! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to relax in a unique environment!
A great experience, on par with ones in Istanbul. I have only one major complaint : that the main round slab is rather small and not many people can lie down at the same time.
We did the 25 euro traditional hamam pack. The service was incredibly gentle and welcoming. They offer you tea break (green , black or red ) between your session or at the end that comes with loukoumades and water and the great is you can use that living room as much as you want and refill your delights. You can also use for free beauty products like moisturising creams or gel and even razor to shave. I would totally recommend it and will definitely visit it again.

The Electra Hotel is located in the bustling commercial district of Athens. Offering a contemporary stay, the hotel has plenty of amenities such as a dedicated business centre and naturally lit conference rooms. The hotel also includes a spa and wellness centre with a variety of massage treatments and yoga classes available to book. If guests are looking for some downtime, the hotel offers an excellent spa and wellness centre with its own bar.

we had a five-day stay in the hotel and we were very much satisfied with it. in the beginning there was a problem of card payment which was quickly solved flexibly by communicating with the reservations, kind lady Ms. Alexandra.. then checking in late, as we had informed them was not a problem, we were welcomed nicely with smiles. everyone in the reception and lobby were very helpful and kind. they went out of their way to help when we had a question about the city. the room was very clean and had every thing needed to stay comfortably. the breakfast service was good, all working personnel were professionally competent. the view of the acropolis from the terrace is a treat. the central location of the hotel in the middle of a good shopping area also makes it easy to reach to most touristic spots. we would stay in the same hotel if we go to Athens again!
Stayed here for our first 2 nights in Athens. While the location is great, the classic rooms are quite cramped and lack a good view or lighting. However they did upgrade us for free to a better room overlooking Ermou St. and it was great. The breakfast is just average we felt. While you can technically see the Acropolis from the restaurant, it's not really the best kind of view. There are plenty of other rooftops in the city from where the Acropolis can be seen better.
Really nice hotel and very reasonably priced considering how central it is. Just a few minutes walk to the parliament (we could see it from our window) and on a busy shopping street. Brealfast in the rooftop restaurant had plenty of variety, and if you get one of the outside seats you get a view across the city to the Parthanon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again on my next visit to Athens.

Massage Point is a tranquil and relaxing spa located in the heart of bustling London. The experienced therapists provide a wide range of massage treatments specifically tailored to your needs, resulting in an overall excellent experience. The location is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet escape from the city noise, and the value for money is unbeatable. Highly recommended!

It was so good that I brought my friend there again. From the moment you enter, the aroma, light music and warm greeting all constitute a relaxing atmosphere, plus the massage with oil of your choice, made it a perfect experience. (be there early for the entrance wasn't easy to find.)
An overall excellent experience, from start to finish. A beautiful and tranquil location with lovely, kind and truly caring staff. Amazing value for money and one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The staff ask you exactly what you require and take a brief medical history so they can tailor treatments exactly for your requirements. I had serious neck and shoulder issues and they provided a great level of relief. Seriously can not recommend enough. A quiet, tranquil and Zen-like haven in a wondrously chaotic and buzzing city. Treat yourself—your worth it.
Amazing service! The staff was so kind and we felt very special. It‘s a very relaxing experience. I must admit that the massage (90 mins East meets west) wasn‘t extraordinary but I still enjoyed it. What stood out the most was the attention they gave us. We got drinks, slippers and snack.

Located in the heart of Athens, Golden City Hotel offers a lobby lounge and free Wi-Fi access in addition to a restaurant with city views. The rooms offer a variety of facilities including air conditioning, satellite TV and minibar. The hotel also has a fitness room and garden.

Above my expectations! Service was very good, fast and helpful, including the reception, cleanliness and the people at the breakfast. The rooms were clean, had everything we needed, perfect for a business trip. The breakfast was also quite rich for 3 (if I'm not wrong) star hotel. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the location, which although is very convenient to the centre of the city, is quite doggy. Not recommended for families, just because of the area, otherwise, the hotel is pretty legitimate.
The hotel is located in center of the city but was very dirty and full of homeless so you must avoid by any chance walking on the nearby streets during night. But the experience with the staff was the poorest l ever had in a hotel. In our first day the host from the restaurant literally shouted on us to bring masks on, he sends us out of the restaurant and keep on shouting on us in Greek. But however all the staff was rude and didn't care little about their guests. I haven't heard a minimum good morning during my stay there. Also when booked we were shown a room but actually our room was very small, no bedside table for one person, so my friend phone and personal belongings had to be kept on the floor. The shower have a small glass and when you're showering the water splashing all over the bathroom floor. Also the room have no soundproofing, it's very noisy you barely can sleep. The WiFi connection was very weak. We loved that the room was clean, daily housekeeping was provided and the maids didn't take tip, which was a bit odd. Even if you put money on the bed as a tip you'll find them back on return
Not very friendly staff, mediocre breakfast, bad area. The beds were very warm and nice and the heaters were okay, shower was confusing as it was just a shower head in the bath. Bathroom otherwise very nice, fridge smelt awful so we had to disinfect. Not an area for going out alone and lots of crime. Nice room, although there was lots of smoking in the hallway.

The Electra Metropolis Athens is a luxurious 5-star hotel in the heart of Athens with stunning views of the Acropolis and a wide range of spa treatments and beauty rituals inspired by Ancient Greece. The pool at the serene rooftop space is small but elegant, while the Aegeo Spa on the basement level offers a variety of top-notch beauty and healing therapies.

Fantastic, centrally-located hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and an outrageously good view of the Acropolis on the roof deck. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel as we were only in Athens for a few days, but made sure to have breakfast on the roof deck everyday to take in the views. Breakfast was buffet-style (though drinks are served at the table) with a ton of variety. Hotel staff that we met - both at the front desk and elsewhere - were all without exception courteous throughout. Overall, great choice for a stay in Athens. The only downside was that the elevator capacity struggled with handling the breakfast rush such that we chose to take the stairs the whole way a few times.
The place is superb. Location... Breakfast... Rooftop views... Staff... I had a business meeting in their conference rooms and it was great, no issues at all. The only setback was that we couldn't use the spa. Due to covid restrictions there were no appointments available on any of the 3 days I spent there and I think you guys should be more flexible with your 5* customers on your 5* hotel. Still a fantastic hotel nevertheless.
Very nice hotel in the center of Athens and close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are new and clean, breakfast is served in the 10th floor with beautiful view of the Parthenon. In addition the hotel has spa & pool. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will stay again.

Thanasis Place is a hostel with a lounge, free guided tours, and breakfast. It is located in the city center of Athens.

I would say that it's a true 4,5 star but I gave it 5 stars cause the hosts were really nice and helpful. I was working remotely during the days and they provided me with everything I needed: a small table, chair and an extender. Hostel is more or less clean. Still there is only 1 men's shower so sometimes it’s over-occupied. I see a lot of complaints here but believe me – you just need to ask if you feel uncomfortable or need something. And the hosts will do it. Just communicate and negotiate and everything will be all right. It’s a nice place to stay for couple of nights for really, really reasonable price. Helpful tips and tricks from Andreas and Thanasis are included :)
There are many other choices of hostels in Athens, and I recommend you avoid this one. Pros: cheap, good location, grocery store, kitchen, lockers, secure front door Cons: 1. It’s dirty. I was awake in my bed in the morning and I watched one of the staff leave the fitted sheet on that a previous guest just stayed in and just dust away some of the hair and debris without changing the sheet. Not clean or covid safe at all. The comforters are not washed between guests and they smell. The bathrooms always have body hair. 2. Inappropriate touching from the owner to guests. He tried to hold my hand several times longer than a normal handshake. I talked to another female guest and she said the same thing. I get weird vibes from the whole place as well. Female travelers, I recommend to avoid unless you like this kind of attention 3. Lol there’s two small bowls in the hostel kitchen. One day I found a big bowl and as I was eating out of it, the owner told me he needed it back because it belonged to the apartment upstairs. He paused as though he could take it right that second. I told him I would be done with it in 5 minutes. Awkward pause again and he said okay. I recommend providing more bowls so we don’t have to share between floors. Also, I ate out of a mixing bowl the 4 days I was there because the small blue ones are like for kids size. 4. Rooms are very cramped and small. I was in a 6 person female dorm and there was a refill any space to move. I don’t recommend if you are claustrophobic. I’m not, and this was still cramped for me
Good: Staff was good and friendly, check in was easy, Decor in the common area was good. Cheap ( I paid €10 per night for a 6 bed female dorm). Bad: Rooms are conjusted. I stayed there for a night. The AC wasn't working, so did not sleep at all the whole night. Outside was much cooler than inside the room. The lockers are small. Outside is very very very noisy even with the doors closed. Elevator was not working. The bedsheet was wet. Very small towel was provided. I would not go back again and would not recommend it to anyone.

The InterContinental Athenaeum Athens is a sophisticated lodging with multiple eateries, a seasonal outdoor pool, and a full-service spa. The large pool on the ground floor is towered over by the hotel's high walls, providing some respite from the busy city streets. Guests relax on wooden chaise longues with cream cushions and fresh towels at the nearby bar.

Beautiful rooms (even though all my colleagues got a room with a view and I didn't 😔) Clean and spacious rooms. Ok pressure in the shower - plus two shower heads (one fixed and one free) Nice to have a minibar with space for own stuff. Good breakfast in the morning and wonderful coffee bar. Thank you for the delicious frappe! Conference locations very nice! Good lunch as well. Enjoyed the rooftop dinner with views of the acropolis!
We are staying here for 3 nights. It is conveniently located. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We have no complaints except one that the swimming pool area is completely closed. The weather is beautiful and above 22 degrees. My daughter would love some time by the pool and we would have some food and drinks there but unfortunately it is a nice pool but it is locked up so we can only look at despite the weather. So we ended up eating somewhere else with outdoor space. Hope the hotel can review and revise the policy in the future.
I spent a week at this hotel with my family and all in all enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and extremely clean thanks to the great housekeeping team. We had dinner at the bar to celebrate my birthday which was really nice- special thanks to George, who was the waiter there. He’s really an asset to the hotel. A lot of things were closed in the hotel I guess due to Covid but that is to be expected.

I was very happy with Zoe. She was so friendly and took a lot of time to do a good job. I felt very relaxed after the treatment and my skin feels clean. Definitely recommend it!
Highly recommend! A wonderful experience all around and one of the best facials I've ever received. Zoe and Stella were great and extremely professional. I appreciated the safety measures taken during covid, it put me at ease.
To be pampered is what I needed, and that’s exactly what I got. A wonderful experience to indulge after busy days. I was coddled. Top in Athens! Go for it.

A luxurious and up-to-date hotel with excellent facilities, Wyndham Grand Athens is a popular choice for luxury travellers. The hotel features a restaurant and spa as well as a rooftop terrace with pool and bar/eatery. There is also a fitness center available.

Great Hotel with amazing view on The Parthenon!!! The room was great and clean and feel safe with the COVID-19. They have very nice rooftop bar and restaurant with amazing sunset and awesome service from Georgina. Also they have very good point its only 7 euros by taxi to visit The Parthenon. I really enjoy my 3 nights. I hope to visit this hotel as soon as possible.
The staff were really lovely, the roof top bar was really good and the breakfasts were amazing. Unfortunately the pool was closed and only opens in May. The area is okay it can be a bit sketchy at times you need to have your wits about you. Really great transport links. The main issue is that we got bed bugs from the room. I spoke to reception about it and asked to get the sheets changed but they didn’t really seem to acknowledge what I was saying. At first the didn’t change the sheets so I called and asked they didn’t change the mattress protector and my naivety led me to believe they knew what they were doing and this was enough. Unfortunately it wasn’t and I was bitten again through the night. As it was our last night I didn’t make to much of a fuss and just checked out. I regret this deeply as now I have to pay for bed bug treatment. It was my first time experiencing anything like this so I wasn’t sure what to do. It really dampened the whole experience.
Large rooms with good interior design. Accessories were top notch. There is a great view from the rooftop bar. Friendly and kind both at reception and restaurant staff. The breakfast was rich and with lots of options for different tastes. Metro station was metres away. 15-20 mins pedestrian distance from the walking part. Totally would recommend and would definitely come back.

The COCO-MAT Athens Hotel is a luxurious property in the upscale Kolonaki district of Athens. It features complimentary breakfast, as well as a rooftop cafe/bar with city views. The hotel's owners are the creators of Coco-Mat, an all-natural mattress manufacturer, and it strives to provide a high quality sleep experience with its own unique sleeping systems and 14 customizable pillows.

We stayed here for four nights in April and had the best time! The location is fantastic - the neighbourhood is really trendy, with lots of great cafes, restaurants and bars and didn't feel touristy at all. The main sights are around a 25 minute walk but it's lovely to have a walk through the different neighbourhoods and the national gardens. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and love the little extras such as the bag of yummy drinks on arrival. The room was very spacious and the bed was probably the biggest bed I've ever seen! We had a nice balcony and even though the street to the front is busy with cafes and restaurants, all the rooms are to the back and it's so quiet. Coco mat have other hotels in Athens and we can't wait to come back and try them all!
Fantastic hotel with a difference. Firstly, you think you arrived in a bed store but, as much as they actually sell bedding stuff, it is the entrance of the hotel. Reception is super effective and friendly and they hand over a bag of drinks to you as welcome gift. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with the freestanding, floor to ceiling glassed shower being the highlight. The rooftop terrace offers a stunning view and you can enjoy amazing breakfast there in the morning. The area is safe and offers many options to grab something to eat or drink in the evening with a nice buzz.
We stayed for 3 nights in may and loved it. The Hotel service was brilliant, the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help as much as possible. In general the hotel is really accommodating, breakfast and food was amazing, the roof top is lovely for a peaceful drink/coffee with lovely views and everything to do with the hotel is eco friendly (huge plus in our eyes) The surrounding area is very trendy and a lovely area full of cafes, bars and designer shops. It's roughly a 20 minute walk to the main sites and shopping area, we got a taxi back later in the evening a few times and it was 4 euros. Rooms was nice and clean with a fantastic shower and the bed was heaven. We looked at so many hotels before booking and we are so happy we chose to stay here and would return without any hesitation. Thank you to the staff who made the stay a great experience.

Hotel is located at the very centre of Athens and a walking distance to most attractions. Essential amenities such as restaurants, shops and a supermarket are just very close by. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful especially the very nice lady receptionist, named Katya. She told us where to eat good authentic Greek foods, places to see and the easiest way to see Athens. Very highly recommended.
Very good city hotel. Being a solo traveller I have come to accept that I will be given an inferior room, in this case the room was tiny but that said everything else was excellent, a truly 4 star hotel. The staff were excellent as was the breakfast.
Located close to a couple attractions and museums. The service has been fabulous via email and the staff are extremely helpful. The roof top restaurant and bar has a lovely veiw of the Acropolis and the food is absolutely delicious!

It has a rooftop pool with views of the Acropolis and offers yoga classes (arranged through reception) as well as refreshments from the bar on the roof. There is also a small gym but no spa - massage therapies are done in-room.

Excellent hotel. Spent 4 nights here in early May. The hotel is very well maintained. The staff are really friendly & helpful. The place is really clean & the rooms are comfortable with a huge double bed. The restaurant serves a lovely evening meal & there's a great variety of options available for breakfast. Highly recommended.
A wonderful 9 floor hotel at the center of Athens. The roofgarden has swimming pool and the view is unique. Prices are rational according to what is provided.
My lovely wife Gabi and I have enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Fresh very much. The staff is enormous friendly and cares about one. The Roof Restaurant offers a wonderful service and an amazing panoramic view from the 9th floor over Athens to the Acropolis and to other places. We were very happy to have choosen this Hotel and can only recommend it to others. Especially also to Marathon Runners like me - they even offer on the Marathon Day an early breakfast from 5am to 10:30. Just great! We want to come back. You come as guest and go as friend. 👍🙏🥂

The Melia Athens is a contemporary hotel with complimentary Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool and a fitness room. Centrally located in downtown Athens, the Melia is part of the popular Melia chain of hotels. The guest rooms are bright and open with earthy tones and wood panelling, while the ensuite bathrooms are decorated with lavish marble and super relaxing hydromassage bathtubs as standard.

Friendly and helpful staff, beds are comfortable but rooms are dated and facilities are tired. Unfortunately the facilities were lacking over all, understandably some things are restricted by covid but they had taken it quite far. No bar, no minibar, no spa, no gym, no pool, no terrace, no hot drink facilities, no room service and for some reason no lights on in the hallways(?!?) We had breakfast at the hotel on one morning and it was dreadful so did not repeat the experience, plenty of local places for far better fare. Well located and if only using as a place to sleep it is comfortable and peaceful. Would not stay here again though :(
Wifi is terrible ( + only free for 3 days), the area does not feel safe - looks like the slums, the bed and pillows are hard as boards, no coffee maker or mini fridge in rooms (we stayed in a “supreme” room), the jacuzzi was luke warm at best, and the view from the rooftop / windows from the rooms are VERY undesirable. The staff is friendly but I would recommend staying at Electra Hotel or anywhere else..
Too expensive for what it offers, very bad service, wifi speed was... you really need patience with it. The gym is basically a couple treadmills and very few dumbels, the rooms dont have balconys neither windows just plain glass that you cant open. There are way better choices in the city.

It's also located a short distance away from some of Athens' biggest attractions, including the Acropolis, National Archaeological Museum and Monastiraki Market.

Great hotel! The service is fantastic, the staff are elegant and polite. The room is clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities. They also have nice views. The room windows fully open to the outside which is pleasant too. Truly the staff is lovely.
It is definitely not a 5 star hotel. 4 star maximum. The hotel is a bit old fashioned and would need a big renovation. +: staff quality, bathroom, room view to acropolis -: room are not well soundproofed. I could hear the people walking from the room above or the street noise
All in all it was a fantastic stay. Hotel fulfills the expectations of a five star hotel. However, I would like to point out the great bar with their bartender, who services cocktails on request.

Zen Massage is a professional, high-quality massage therapy business. Its therapists are experienced and skilled in the art of massage and use the latest techniques to provide their clients with a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Menelaos was an excellent therapist, providing a deep, therapeutic massage that was perfect for relieving tension and stress before a long flight. The business is clean and well organized, with polite staff who are happy to answer any questions you may have about the massage service.

One of the best massages I had! Considering that I've had hundreds of massages on both east and west coasts in the U.S. and some in Shanghai China, I'd say the service I received was professional and high quality. I hope I can be back soon. (By the way, they've been quite responsive to my texts and calls).
Average massage. Please consider that you have to put a mask while receiving a massage which I have never encountered in my life and I did numerous massages during covid. Vat is always on top of the price if you don't pay cash. Not recommended
Menelaos, was an actual wizard! Best massage I’ve had in a long while. Should have gotten the 90 mins, perfect for easing muscle tension and relaxation before a long hail flight. Very clean and super professional, can’t wait to go back again when I’m next in Athens!

Fantastic hotel..roof top pool and seating area 5/5..views are to die for. Staff polite, rooms clean and comfortable. Only moan they don't do toast for breakfast..
Avoid the brunch at all costs. It has the rare priviledge of having a great view. That is all the good there is to it. The food is served cold and re-heated. The choice is supremely limited. Not a single item from the salad bar, the 4 proposed main courses, or the sweets was truly good. The croissant was passable. The behavior of the bell boy downstairs is despicable, much like a number of other hotel employeesNot to mention it was predictably very expensive for what you actually get.
Perfect location. A lot of options for food and drink in 5-10min walking. Hotel parking is charged as extra (which is not very common and quite expensive (almost 1/8 of the room price)) if you also consider that the areas is not parking friendly. Noise externally and internally is an evidence of poor sound proof. For a hotel of this prestige you'd expect a bit better performance on that area.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights! The hotel was absolutely excellent, centrally located, very clean and well maintained. The rooms and roof top pool were great. The staff were super amazing! Thank you John to you and your great team who made our stay a beautiful and memorable one. The check in and check out were a smooth process. Each of them did their part to make sure everything was comfortable and great for us. we were so happy that we chose this hotel as it covered all the aspects for a great trip! The staff were always eager to help with everything we wanted. they were very knowledgeable , courteous, kind, trust worthy and we are so happy that we chose this hotel for our stay. We totally recommend this hotel for your stay .
Excellent staff, great rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. Some rooms face the square and you can hear then traffic and the breakfast is scary: too many people, too little space and half of them is not wearing masks. But I would definitely go there again, I will just get breakfast elsewhere
A fantastic hotel in Athens! Rooms basic but very clean! Balcony with table and chairs would be nice! Service at hotel very good and staff answered all our queries as best as they could! Sometimes limited English but better than our Greek. Breakfast was really good with a lot of hot and cold options (I loved the spinach pie)! The highlight of this hotel however, is the rooftop swimming pool which is heated! A lovely place to relax after sightseeing and brilliant for kids!! The only downside to the Stanley is it is located in a poor area of the city and may be unsafe at night although we did not experience this. Tip 1: The Ikarus taxi company associated with Stanley are very reasonable. We even rang them when we couldn't get a taxi back from the beach. They came straight away and didn't try to rip us off! Tip 2: Cafe Sol private beach is just next to Bolivar Beach Club and a great alternative! We spent the whole there paying 7 Euros per person for a combination of loungers and parasols. Would definitely recommend Stanley hotel for a stay in Athens!!

This upmarket boutique hotel in the heart of Athens is perfect for travelers who appreciate elegant accommodations, delicious dining and intuitive service. With panoramic views of the Acropolis and a dedicated fitness center, the King George is an excellent choice for anyone looking to stay in Athens.

If you are staying in Athens, you have to stay at the King George! My wife and I stayed at the King George while celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. We were impressed with them from the very first phone call we made to them. They gave us complimentary champagne upon arrival and went above and beyond to help us have the best stay possible. My wife has a gluten allergy and the restaurant at Tudor Hall went above and beyond to make sure she did not go hungry. After returning home, we miss their breakfast almost every day. It was delicious and the staff was wonderful. We received the best drivers to take us around the city and give us tours when we asked. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean. We cannot express enough how kind and helpful everyone was! We loved it and if we are ever back in Athens, we will be staying here again! You won't regret staying at the King George.
Super attentive and super helpful. Loved the door men being so courteous. The housekeeping was good. Woke up one day at 8am with sanding and painting and another day with hammering next door. It is an older building so I understand that repairs are a must but it was early. The bed is very hard, The AC runs loud. The view is a 10/10 ⭐️ The fresh flowers in the room were a wonderful touch. Breakfast was appreciated especially the Covid precautions.
Excellent service, with high quality staff. The reception, breakfast and room staff are very efficient and friendly. Some comments on services and facilities: - the gym should be better equipped, with more material and more diversified. - the room facing an interior patio had very little light. - the restaurant's menu does not have a true vegetarian option, which I think is very objectionable. Anyway, it's an excellent option, with a lot of quality and well located.

I will be recommending the hotel to anyone who asks. We really had the best time. Thank you Perianth! <3
Great location, very central, modern design with spacious rooms and friendly staff. Big shame is that it’s noisy at night but ok if you don’t mind staying up late. Our return flight was cancelled due to bad weather and we were fortunate to be able to stay an extra night at very late notice !
My partner and I stayed for the night before taking off to Mykonos. I had the most wonderful experience even though it was for one night. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and the service was exceptional as well. It felt like it was a home with the staff welcoming us in. I wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend a friend if they were to visit Greece.

Few massages but just what you need and very well done ! The guy, Iannis if I remember, is very strong! I’ve also tried the manicure there and it’s good too, though slightly more expensive than the average. It’s always open and when you’re in emergency you’ll most probably find a place !
