For 2023, Toyota will unleash a new sports car called the GR Corolla. This model is meant to compete with other small sports cars and be a sportier alternative to its lineup. But it doesn't stop there. Toyota will also be coming out with the GR Corolla Morizo, a model that's meant for racing. With 100 pounds of less weight, better torque output, and enhanced handling, many drivers will love what this car offers.

What we Know So Far
The GR Corolla Morizo will be a great sports car. But only 200 units will be built for the 2023 model year. If you're lucky enough to get your hands on one, there's plenty to enjoy.
When its released, it will offer the same turbocharged 1.6-liter 300-horsepower three-cylinder engine as the Core and Circuit editions. But it will be tuned to produce an extra 22 pound-feet of torque, totaling 295 pound-feet. The Morizo will also have a six-speed manual transmission, though it will offer shorter differential gears.
Toyota has also stated that the Morizo's suspension has been re-tuned and will be fitted with monotube shock absorbers. And this model will come with standard front and rear Torsen limited-slip differentials. Inside the cabin, the interior will be covered in red and black Ultrasuede and leather seats. It will also be able to hold four additional tires. The exterior of this model will be offered in Windchill Pearl and an exclusive new matte gray paint.
Arriving Next Year
The Morizo isn't expected to hit our dealership until next year. As such, the price of the vehicle hasn't been announced yet. But we'll let you know when it does.
