I have used Quick n Careful movers in the past without any issues at all so, it came as a complete and total shock when I called in the summer to schedule a move and was told it was too hot. I went with someone else at that time and when I was moving again this year, I decided to give Brad another shot due to being satisfied in the past. Boy, was that a mistake! First of all, after offering directions since I was an hour away, I was accused of being a "time shaver", next, I was only sent two guys when always in the past had been sent three and have the same amount of items if not more, which was discussed at time of booking. Upon arriving late, one of the two guys immediately stated he was ill and was going off the clock. The second guy worked nonstop; I asked him at that time to call the owner so he knew the other guy was "off the clock" and see if someone else could be sent. He wanted to reschedule the move, which I could not do. After much struggling and couple hours of one worker and myself carrying items, the other guy started working and proceeded to make rude, sarcastic comments about the lack of desire to marry me, which I ignored. We arrived much later at my new residence, began unloading, I made a comment about the prior call to move in summer and being refused, at which time the guy who had been incapacitated earlier began a complete and total rant, yelling and cussing at me that I was acting like they were slaves and what right did I have to expect someone to move me in the heat! He cussed and yelled for long period of time, then told me to stay off the truck as I was type of person who would fall and sue them, as well as accusing me of being on medicaid and losing my house, all of which were false accusations. I called his boss and was met with disdain, rudeness, and sarcastic attitude, as well as excuses. I was told I should not have called them, which was proven true and was told they could just unload my stuff on the curb and leave. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior from a supposed reputable business in my entire life. I have always tipped the movers, always was polite, the weather should not matter when someone is running a business where you work in the elements and closing on a house you cannot predict the weather. These people have no business claiming to be quick and professional as they are neither. Zero stars if possible.
