I couldn't speak more highly for these guys, pure professionalism from the outset. Their quote was sensible and competitive which for parquet is not always the case. Julio fitted our floor, he worked on the weekend unprompted and did an amazing job. The parquet looks spot on, I will definitely use them again in the future.

Amazing arrive, memo arrived promptly every day with a smile, he was a breath of fresh air during our renovation. Nothing was too much trouble and he worked around so many tradesmen without any problems and trust me it was a madhouse.
His attention to detail was incredible and we can’t thank him enough for transforming our flooring. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

Our new floor was beautifully laid by a friendly, polite and very hard-working team, led by the delightful Memo. They were happy to talk through with us day by day about how it was all going, and involving us in any detail choices as it all came together. They made minimal mess, and cleared everything up afterwards. The final result is brilliant, even better than we hoped, and we could not be more pleased, We'd give them six stars if we could.

We had a stone floor replaced in the kitchen/diner while the units stayed in situ. Not an easy or particularly nice job. Tim explained exactly what it would entail and priced worse-case scenario. It was largely carried out by Julio, who proved an amazing worker and extraordinarily considerate and nice to have around. (There was a week's wait for the wood, which was beyond their control.) We are really happy with the resulting floor (high quality), and the price came in 11% under quote. All-in-all a job well done. Thank you to HS.

I highly recommend HS Wood Flooring, they have done an amazing job on sanding my wood floor:
- I was living in my place when they did the work, and they have been great working around us, keeping the place very clean with hardly no dust at all
- their quote was competitive, they kept their timing (they even finished a little bit earlier than expected)
- I was amazed by the results, we did not like our previous wood floor and sanding it made it looks great
- the team was very nice and professional
I will definitely use them again in the future and I have recommended them to my friends.

I had a bedroom and landing floor fitted. The main flooring was done really well by an experienced team member and I’m really pleased with it. However the finishing around the edges was poor, parts of a fire place were broken and holes left in skirtings. When I spoke to Tim he arranged to have these items patched but I felt it should not have required a further call out. It was a shame that the finish quality was poor because the bulk of the work was great.

I'm glad to hear that the issues that you had were rectified but I agree that they shouldn't need to be done in the first place.
We have implemented new systems with the workers to ensure that guys don't leave a site when there are things like this that need to be done. Sometimes there are little bits that are missed but we are doing everything we can to eliminate this as I understand the inconvenience it causes for our clients.
HS flooring completely transformed our floors. We liked both Tim and his team a lot, but wish we’d been more vigilant in the taping/protecting of our freshly painted skirtings and walls. We have many varnish marks which we feel could have been avoided.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback.
Yours is a common issue, we do try to make sure that our clients understand that the sanding and colouring works we do will leave some minor damage to the skirting boards and that any decorating works should wait until after we have finished.
We have started to tape the skirtings before applying the oil, but this has opened up a new type of issue where even though we use the correct tape, some paint comes off with the tape or the oil creeps up behind the tape causing an oil buildup at the base of the skirting.
We are working together with our suppliers to find the best solution to this problem.
I appreciate you letting us know that this is an area that lets down the service that we provide.

I would highly recommend the team who did this job so promptly and professionally for us. Our floor looks like a new floor again after being down for some 10 years...

Overall the work was carried very well and our parquet floor looks absolutely great. There was one problem with the the skirting board that had to be refitted. The rework was done promptly and without any fuss, but probably still not as good a finish as could be achieved.

Occasionally there is issues with some of the finishing details, thresholds and skirtings seem to be the most common. We have introduced systems to help prevent this happening but on occasion something is missed.

Excellent service from Danny. The floor looked absolutely amazing after he had finished a deep clean and re-oil. He even managed to clear a strip of floor that had grouting and adhesive ingrained in it. We are delighted with the results.

Tim and Danny came in and totally rescued us from a floor nightmare left by another contractor. They kept us in the loop during the process with drying times etc being hard to predict. Thanks for them our floor is what we love the most in our new home.
