🚨SCAMMERS🚨

I cannot stress how bad this company is. Please please do NOT purchase anything from them. I made that mistake and never received it, only received excuses.

Multiple limited companies that all owe multiple thousands, one company had to pay PayPal over £30,000 because back when they took payments through PayPal (they don’t anymore for obvious reasons) they were obviously taking peoples money but not sending any product out so people were getting their money back through PayPal, PayPal then had to take them to court for over 30k that they hadn’t been able to recover. They had £40,000 bounce back loads during covid that would have lined their own pockets. They have multiple First Gazettes and Active Proposals to strike off - which basically means the company has to shut down but the problem is they just create another limited company that works off the back of the same website and continues to take peoples money for product they don’t have. Stupidly I bank transferred them the money but luckily my bank refunded me the full value. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM COMPANIES NAMED:

All 3 of them take you to 1 website

Even the website is headed AUTOTRADESTYLING despite the website being MADMOTORS.

They show a “customer service” number on the website but don’t get your hopes up because it doesn’t work.

SCAM SITE

Bought a spoiler back in october 2023 was told there was a stock issues but that they let me know. Then a couple weeks later was told that they’d be in stock within a week. Never heard back after that. Tried emailing multiple times with no reply and the number that’s on the website doesn’t exist along with the web form not working. SCUMBAGS. Doing a bit or research they change their name constantly on here it says car web store for me it was Mad Motors uk but the sales email is autostyling. The business address seems to change with mine saying the city center in London which obviously doesn’t make sense for a car parts supplier. Avoid at all costs.

Scam.

I brought side skirts from them before covid and they were good, but since covid the company just seems to be scammers. I've been waiting almost a year for a part to arrive for my modified car and they seem to not be capable of sending it. At first they responded to emails but they kept giving me excuses as to why the part hadn't arrived and then they stopped responding altogether. Avoid at all costs, there's better companies out there like Maxton design for body kits.
Never trust a company that only gives you a pathetic contact page but no mobile number.

Absolute scammers

Absolute scammers . After a year of waiting with very little communication.. they cancelled my order claiming I'd need to contact my bank for a refund. They are refusing the refund though , because scammers gonna scam . Obviously I'll be seeking legal advice

CWS is a joke

This company is a complete joke full of explanations and here negative feedback seems to be always customers fault. Had to wait months for parts that never arrived and few months more for refund.
Feels like this company is broke and they have to "loan" customers money for a while to cover their own expenses.

Note that many of these short 5 star ratings seems to be sent by CWS itself as they are given in bursts. (Reported to Trustpilot)

Good luck acquiring long term customers with your style, despite it seems that you're not doing business much longer.

Hello Janne, it seems very strange to us that we are receiving these negative reviews on our general business, rather than actual issues with specific orders. We too are in talks with Trustpilot to sort this. I am mystified how we can be at fault for receiving good reviews and how long good reviews need to be in length? We are always on the phone to solve any issues. We processed 319 retail orders in July and received 3 negative reviews. After 20 years in business, we understand that there will be issues with some orders but we have a 99% success rate. We currently hold over 1000 parts in stock and on a 24 hour delivery. Our retail side only accounts for 20% of our business and our trade side delivers to over 500 bodyshops, garages and accident repair centres. This accounts for 80% of our business. Some cars we sell parts for can be up to 30+ years old and with COVID and Brexit hitting our industries, there are bound to be delays on certain parts. Part ordered in May 2021

Part ordered in May 2021. Various emails to chase part. Refund requested in August 2021 - no refund received. Sporadic emails with varying excuses. Still waiting on refund. Final chance given to refund money otherwise no option than to go to small claims court. Do not trust this company!

Criminals. DO NOT USE.

I think the current climate has hit this company hard. From my experience and the many recent reviews it appears they have been forced to turn into nothing more than criminal scum, stealing peoples money and scamming where they can.
I only wish i'd read the reviews BEFORE they stole from me.
Since they now choose to ignore emails and calls i hope to see them in person very soon.

Absolutely disgraceful company

Absolutely disgraceful company, be warned! Order placed March, here we are mid September and it still hasn't arrived. They were quite helpful to start with but no I can't get an answer on the phone or response to my emails! Apparently they've had import issues which at first was plausible but considering my job is importing containers I now find this hard to believe! ... They shouldn't have things on their website They can't supply! Keep your money and go elsewhere!

SCAMMERS !!!

SCAMMERS !!!! Ordered side skirts back in October 2022, They have cut off all communication and i am now out of pocket £150 DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !!!! I will be contacting my banks fraud department !

Scammers using different identities

I was scammed by Mad Motors over 1 1/2 years ago for almost £500. This company was called Mad Motors and is also known as Car web shop. They are using the following names and addresses:-
CWS - Car web shop
Mad motors.
They keep changing address on their website these are theirs addresses
• Unit 2Owen Shaw Mills, Wharf Street, Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, HX6 2AF.
• 82 James Carter Mildenhill,

• Also uses this address on their website but that address is for a car parts company called Strada Spares.

Had to select one star ad you cannot…

Had to select one star ad you cannot write a review without selecting. STAY away, ordered a part in October 2019 did not receive the part I paid in full. Company passed me to the delivery company whom advised I should go back to seller, which I have numerous times. They ignore all contact and still no refund, terrible company.

ordered parts 7 days ago

ordered parts 7 days ago, still not arrived, fobbed off with courier problems!!!!!
just had phone call from Mad Motors saying that because I left a bad review my order has been cancelled so obviously the items had not been sent at all!!!!!
checked bank account and no payment taken either !!!!!!
LOVL order had not even been processed !!

The worst online purchase experience…

The worst online purchase experience I’ve ever had.

Months and months of lying and no communication from this so called “business” has left me with the most sour taste in my mouth.

Purchase made it April 2021 and after 3/4 MONTHS of lies and empty promises, I’m now sat here with no product and an extra month deep in a refund request.

Like many I’ve had to get my bank involved and will be pushing for a suspension of business practice for Carwebshop as well as to receive my refund finally.

Absolutely avoid at all costs, disgusting business.

Item returned, still no refund..??

I bought a new bumper for my ST220, that sadly wasn't fit for purpose, as stated by the bodyshop who were spraying & fitting it..!

I contacted CWS about this, who said returning it wasn't a problem and once recieved would refund me.
I returned the bumper at a cost of £108, which they recieved a month and a half ago and I'm still waiting on my refund.
So I am down £438 thanks to this company and I'm not impressed..

DO NOT USE!!

Made a purchase for multiple parts in July 2021, and I have always said throughout that I understand delays and issues in the ports etc, however I always had to contact them to find this information out. I have had 2 out of 5 parts arrive, still waiting on around £700 of parts. I have tried to make contact with them since December via phone and email to get no response. DONT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO GIVE YOUR MONEY AWAY!!!

Absolute jokers ordered my body kit…

Absolute jokers ordered my body kit they said 6 to 8 weeks it took close to 6 months with no replys to emails or phone calls also sent wrong cheap side skirts when i paid for more expensive ones and the jokers are making me prove they have sent the wrong ones.so hopefully people read this and go else where

I have looked into this and you are correct and we apologise for this. The factory has since been removed from our supplier list. We were quoted 6-8 weeks for you to receive it and they kept keeping us waiting and waiting. We did update you on a regular basis and explain what was happening. We asked each time if you would prefer a refund and you agreed to keep it ongoing. As for the sideskirts, the order went direct from the factory to your address. Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company. They have a legitimate looking website but they are scamming people.
When you place your order they keep pushing out and delaying the shipping and refund times to the point where people miss the possibility to get a refund from their banks. After 2 months of waiting I asked for a refund and was ignored, so I had to go to my bank to log a claim.

Wonderful company to deal with...!

When I contacted Madmotors the salesman answered the phone very promptly and was very efficient. He totally understood my needs and what I wanted. Nothing was too much trouble and when I asked questions, he answered straight away. If I didn't understand anything, he would take the time to explain things. Fully recommend the company and will definitely use them again. It's a 10/10 from me. Thank you Madmotors! :)
