If there was a zero i would give budget…

If there was a zero i would give budget air that!! I cant get hold of anyone to speak to. No phone number and a stupid automatic service that isnt helpful at all. They just randomly changed our fights for no apparent reason, giving us NO option of alternative flights! My husband has a conference and now he might miss the first day because of this. Absolutely disgusting service.

Buget Air Stole $358.78 from me

I bought 3 one way tickets from Guadalajara, Mexico to Seattle, WA. These 3 tickets included 3 carry bags & 1 checked in bag. They canceled the checked in bag, but I never saw the email canceling it. When I got to the airport, I found out they never told Volaris about any of the baggage. I tried to convince Volaris and showed them my confirmation from Budget Air to no avail. They said I had to talk with them.. I spent around $358.78 to get the 3 carryon bags and 1 checked bag so I could get on my flight. When I talked with them after my flight, they were unwilling to accept any responsibility.

False advertising / avoid!

Cancellation fee was advertused as 60euro, but when tried to cancel, they asked for a fee more than 200eur + additional fees related to fare change.
Unacceptable!

Disappointed with Budget Air's Reschedule Fees and Refund Times

I recently had a frustrating experience with Budget Air Canada's change and cancellation policies. I needed to reschedule my flight, and they charged a hefty $800 fee. After finding a significantly cheaper option ($400 less) to change the date on another website, I was forced to cancel my original booking with Budget Air. Even for cancelling, they hit me with a $390 cancellation fee.

While my refund was eventually approved on March 25, 2024, after cancelling my flight on February 25, 2024, it's still not back in my bank account as of April 22, 2024. Their stated timeframe of 8 weeks for processing refund requests seems excessively long.

Overall, Budget Air Canada's fees and lengthy refund times make them a risky choice for booking flights. Be sure to carefully consider their change and cancellation policies before booking.

Criminally dodgy.

Paid extra for "cancel for any reason" when buying tickets. Had 2nd thoughts about flight times & sketchy baggage policy (overhead was not even an option/check bag $100) and tried to cancel w/in one hour. "Cancel booking" button was not selectable. No customer service email or phone. Roadblocks everywhere for 24 hours in which you are legal allowed to cancel for full refund. We called Citi to stop payment in frustration & filed dispute. Afterward more diversions to Hopper (not mentioned in booking) where we could cancel outbound flight only (because return flight was not cancelable) for a stiff cancellation fee if we dropped dispute.

The site was easy to use and…

The site was easy to use and straightforward. I received an email confirmation a few minutes after buying the tickets! This was so important since I've never bought anything through Budget Air before and was the first time I've used it's services. I hope the rest of the experience is just as positive.

Fraud team don't take tickets from…

Fraud team don't take tickets from them. Not able to contact them my flight is cancelled due to whether . When I contact with airlines they told only ticket agent can give reschedule and refund . But there is no way to contact them I mailed them but no response..

I just purchased a ticket from them

I just purchased a ticket from them, the website is super easy to use, not like other budget websites that have too many Upsell Toggles, where you eventually make a mistake and end up purchasing something you don't need. The reviewer who said they paid for luggage on the website, that's not possible. BudgetAir does not allow you to purchase a bag from them, only from the airline direct.

I saved 20% by booking with them. So let's hope it was worth it.

WORST EXPERIENCE

WORST EXPERIENCE : I contact customer service to change the passenger's name (error when ordering). Budget Air tells me that it is not impossible to do that, according to the company's rules. We therefore contacted the airline company which agreed to do the modification (orally and via chat). We sent the chat transcription as a proof to BudgetAir that the company was ok to make the modification and that now it was up to BudgetAir to contact them. However, BudgetAir never wanted to correct the name, claiming that it was not a written statement, even though the company's consultant confirmed to us that what was said by the chatbox was declaration office. But this was never enough for BudgetAir which did not even try to contact the company.
So we had to buy an other flight ticket (€800).
First and last experience with Budget Air!

Terrible company and appalling customer services

One of the worst companies out there to buy cheap flights. You think you’ll get a good deal when you buy your ticket but actually it will cost you more and you’ll get one of the worst experiences from their customer services. I purchased a ticket which came basic with no seat and no handbag or checked luggage, which you have to purchase separately. When you go to purchase the hand luggage and your seat you realise that you can’t do it from the link provided on BudgetAir website as there is an error and the only option you have is to buy the checked luggage which is more expensive than buying it directly from the airline. After you purchase the checked luggage you get an email in a few days saying that there was an a problem while processing the luggage and you’ll get a refund issued to your original payment method between 15 and 20 days. When you try to buy your seat and luggage from the airline you also have the surprise of your booking not being recognised by the airline and you have to go back again to their customer services to find out what is going on. In case you fed up with all this nonsense and you ask to get your ticket cancelled you’ll find out from their customer services that you loose all your money if you cancel because it’s basic and it’s nonrefundable or nonchangeable even then on their chat helpline if you check cancellation fees you’ll find that they are up to £60. Every time I interacted with their customer services and I was told that they will come back to me with instructions of what do they need to do next they never did a follow up or come back to me about my issues like they didn’t care. I know I won’t be using them again and I’ll tell everyone to think twice before booking any services from them.

on the ticket i bought it said "one…

on the ticket i bought it said "one personal item and one hand baggage" turns out it was only one personal item even tho it clearly says on the ticket both, and i have to pay 400 us dollars for the hand luggage that they said came with. dont buy from this site, its a scam and they wont help you.

Scam

Scam. Do not trust this business. Literally scams people with weird protocols and policies. No customer service phones not supervisors. Tricky system that will scam you and will never give a chance to fix any issue. Stay away from this scamming group.

It was a painless process of searching…

It was a painless process of searching and booking the flights.
The only thing I am missing is after a search, your selection boxes of the different airlines are gone. So if you look to book with a specific airline, you have to scroll through the 500 results first, until you find your preferential airline. This functionality was availabe in the past and I don't know why you guys took that away? Marvin

$110+$5 admin charge for booking mistake/cancelling

They charge me $110 per person plus $5 for a booking mistake. You can’t even cancel and rebook immediately. This is a ridiculous policy. You have to 100% sure and check throughly before you summit. The 24 hours cancellation policy for other travel sites is not exist here.
