Horrid

Horrid - shipped the incorrect items, a LOT of back and forth - returned their incorrect items and have NEVER received the correct - still pending a refund

Sold unusable items and won't refund for a return

We purchased a heater - the description says thermostat included. Once we received the heater and opened the box we can see that the thermostat is not actually included. Homelectrical suggested a thermostat to fit the heater, but it doesn't fit. When I search for the part suggested by the manufacturer it is discontinued. So - we have a worthless heater that there is not thermostat to fit. Homelectrical wants to charge more to return the item than the actual cost of the item. Such a ripoff and a total scam.

Terrible return policy

I ordered a small knob for a heater and it was finally delivered after 6 weeks. It is the size of a quarter. It does not fit my heater and HomElectric wants to charge me $23 for a return label, in order to return it. Are they crazy!!! They charged me $6.99 to deliver this tiny part.

I reordered the part I needed from Zoro and it arrived in 3 days. Excellent customer service too!

We ordered 4 hydronic heaters afrom…

We ordered 4 hydronic heaters afrom home electrical. We are lucky though… we actually received what we ordered but it took three weeks to process the order and then ship the heaters. During that time we realized that we ordered the wrong voltage so we reached out to exchange them. We were told that it would cost us $230 to return the heaters and then we could place a new order. We never received return labels even after calling to make sure they were emailed before the 30 days. We are now keeping the heaters and will hire an electrician to re-wire our electrical panel. Not a good business and we wish we hadn’t ordered from them!

Received USI M106S smoke alarms manufactured 2+ years ago.

In ordered 6 USI M106S smoke alarms in March 2023. The product that arrived was manufactured in December 2020. I called HomElectrical and was assured that the 10 year warranty starts when the unit is installed. The unit has a built-in, non-serviceable battery, so I am a little concerned about the lifespan, but will install them anyway. I set a calendar reminder for March 2031 (8 yrs), 2032, and 2033. I'll revise my rating if the unit lasts 10 years.

Don't pay for shipping or just avoid all together

I placed an order on Dec 11 for a wall heater. They advertised Dec 15 delivery for free on Google and offer a free shipping option on their website. I paid over $80 extra for 3-5 day shipping to get it faster but it isn’t here and per the tracking won't be here until Dec 19 which is 9 days! I asked them to refund me the shipping since they shipped it via a no faster shipping method than the free option and I paid for 3-5 day shipping. There is no possible way it would have reached me in 3-5 days via Ground shipping from the east coast. They argued they don’t control shipping time and stopped communicating with me. Why didn’t they ship it via 3-day or Priority mail to get it to me in the 3-5 windows they list? I paid over $80 to ship a 20lbs item!
Save your money, don't pay them for shipping. Who knows if I'll even get what I ordered. Disputed the charges.

This company's warranty on LED shop…

This company's warranty on LED shop light bulbs is useless! The website says the Forest Lighting bulbs have a 5 year warranty, but when one of our bulbs no longer lights up after only about 2 1/2 years, we find that we should have purchased another case to take care of this. Seriously?
Forest Lighting is a Chinese company and not sure if HomElectrical is or not, but will not be dealing with them again.

Now I understand why this company isn’t in Google. Ordered outdoor condenser unit. After tree week I didn’t get my unit. Only when I called they said it’s backorder, need to wait maybe one month more😡. I did refund and never will order there something

USI-5304 smoke detectors

Bought 7 USI-5304 smoke detectors on 12/21/2021 at $11.99 with free shipping. Received as advertised with manufactured date in 2021 and will last 10 years per manufacturer. I even saved screen shot just in case to argue...

They don't honor their return policy...AVOID THEM!

I ordered $200 worth of hanging light bulbs for outside. The items were drop-shipped from China. None of the 96 bulbs worked...they didn't fire up. I tried them in lots of sockets, and nothing worked. The company is not authorizing a return, so I have to absorb the cheap crap they sell from China.

SO sorry i didn't check trustpilot first!

SO sorry i didn't check trustpilot before shopping here! they advertise sending everything the same day as ordered, and i paid for a level of delivery that promises delivery in 6-9 business days. lo and behold, 11 days (8 business days) after placing the order, i got the email telling me that the shipping label has been created in preparation for shipping the item to me. my questioning the delivery time was met with these snarky words: "It looks like you paid for 6-9 business day shipping, so hopefully it will be there in 6-9 business days." COMPLETE mistake buying from this seller.

Stay away from this company

One of the 26 LED bulbs was received with the lens broken off. The next day I sent them a picture of the defective bulb. It took 6 weeks and 7 emails to get this matter resolved.
Their customer service is absolutely the WORST I've ever encountered!
Don't order from this company. There are too many good companies available. Stay away from this one!
Their customer service is down right terrible!
I will never order from them again!

DON’T SHOP HERE!!

DON’T SHOP HERE!!! Even if you found cheaper price point for a few bucks. It’s NOT WORTH THE TIME AND HEADACHE. I placed an order for a couple carbon detectors a month ago and they kept pushing back the arrival date. When I placed the order, it was promising to arrive in 7-10days time, which is a complete lie. Then I canted them for a refund and the lady told me it would take another 7-10 days. At this point I just contacted my credit card company. For one, they should never charge me unless they have shipped the product. For two, I’m basically told they were too busy to treat my refund as priority.

GREEDY SELLER NOT HORNORING WARRANTY

Purchased 10 led bulbs from this seller in sep 2020. The bulbs are warranty to last 5 years. Now just 15 months later, 2 bulbs went out. I contacted them for warranty replacement and they wanted me to pay for shipping of the replacement bulbs as well as return of the defective bulbs. They do not tell me how much shipping fees would be but it possibly equal the price of the 2 bulbs.

Do not buy or support this vendor. They do not make whole to their customers and are greedy.

BUYER BEWARE

FAILURE! Please do not use this website. Took forever to get the order then they sent the wrong a/c unit. Trying to get ahold of them to schedule return has been a nightmare. I had to get the credit card company involved. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!

Product Photos is Not What You Get

My company recently ordered Western CGA-580 Male Regulator Inlet Nuts - The website photo shows the nut AND the o-ring nipple. cat #WEE-692P. Have a look, what would you expect to get?

We received only the nuts and when I called they informed me of the fine print "image may not depict product actual color, inclusions and accessories"

Huh? So what is the purpose of having a product photo? The o-ring nipple is NOT an "accessory" it is part of the product which is normally sold as nut and nipple.

I've worked in manufacturing for over 40 years and this is the very first time I had this experience! Certainly industrial product photos of items such as flanges will be generic due to sizes but this is unreasonable.

It took me some time to find a company that sells the part off of the part, the o-ring nipple and ordered them.

If you order anything from this company be warned, the photos may not be what you will get.

Oh and returning the product to them? Kill me first!

Bait and switch

Bait and switch. Bought an in wall heater only to get a call from home electrical.com before shipping that there was an error on there web site, but will sell me the exact same heater for $125.00 more then the list price. Is this legal? Do the right thing home electrical!

Company has poor communication between customer service and shipping

I placed my order at 9am.. I called at 1 to cancel and they said they would do that and I would get an email conf. The confirmation never came, I called back late in the day and they said it could take longer,
I waited a day and called the next day and was assured by MIke that my order WAS cancelled and I would get a refund,
Now at 5 pm the next day i get an email saying its not cancelled. It took them two days to tell me its not cancelled, but yet when i called yesterday they could not tell me that.
Today I was told it was packed YESTERDAY at 10am but when i called at 1 they did not know. When I called later in the day, they did not know
when i called today.. they did not know.
AND still no shipping info

I bought a bathroom heater from them in…

I bought a bathroom heater from them in February 2021. They represented that they ship in about 14 days. After a month, elapsed without the heater, I contacted them. for the first time, I learned that this product was "on backorder" a term that I would see frequently with them. About a month later I received the heater. Our electrician tried to install it. Again, for the first time we learned that we need a thermostat for the heater. Wasted electrician visit (not free). The thermostat was order but didn't arrive. I learned that this was also "on backorder" again for the first time. It still did not come. Then I learned that it was "on backorder" a second time and was due in July 2021! Started this in February 2021, 6 months before! Called homelectrical to see if they had another compatible thermostat in stock, and was told that they did. It arrived. It was Not compatible! Another wasted electrician visit. Returned it and got a compatible thermostat. For he first time, we were able to turn on the heater. It was August 2021 now. It did not work!. I arranged to return the thermostat and heater. homelectrical charged me $28 plus change because I did not return it within 30 days!!! They claimed it was returned under their warranty so I had to pay for shipping. Finally received the new heater and thermostat. Now it is November 2021! Electrician returned and installed heater and thermostat and it worked. Yay. It took only 9 months and cost a fortune because my electrician does not work free. He has a family to support. Homelectrical kept telling me how sorry they were, but never offered to pay the electrician for his time they wasted, nor for shipping after they delayed so much that I couldn't possibly return the defective merchandise within 30 days. I asked several times to speak with management. No dice. Finally customer service said that an owner would call me the next day. Never happened. Instead I received an email from a supervisor with the same lip service about how sorry they were and that the merchandise was returned under the warranty, after 30 days.

I learned: Never, under any circumstance do business from homelectrical! They made a profit of about 60% on my order and were totally unwilling to do anything constructive about the problems they created. Never do business with homelectrical!!
