Closing Policy: The pools will close in inclement weather. The pool may close if air temperature is 68 degrees or below, and must close if pool water temperature is 65 degrees or below (water is heated to 81 degrees). Closings are at the discretion of the pool staff in charge and are based on inclement weather, attendance (less than 20 patrons) or unusual circumstances. Refund will not be given for inclement weather. You will be notified of all closings online and on the Waukesha Parks, Recreation, and Forestry information line at 1-262-522-9356, option 2.
Family Swim Times: Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - Noon All amenities open and small toys and inflatables permitted
Open Lap Swim & Current Channel Times *Members Only*: Monday - Friday: 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Sunday: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Adult Lap Swim and Adult Deep Water Jog *Must be 18+*: Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Features
Open Swim Area (50 Meters): Enjoy lap swimming, volleyball, basketball, fitness bikes & aqua jog belts use (first come, first serve basis), 1-meter diving board, lounge in the water under shade structures or just enjoy the open water.
Children's Pool: Family fun includes zero depth entry, a spray feature & a small slide.
Channel: Gently ride along on a single or double inner tube during open channel time (on first come, first served basis) or workout against the current during open adult fitness times (16+).
Plunge Pool & Slides: These are available with the Ultimate Pass or daily slide fee. Must be at least 48" tall.

Personal Floatation Devices
Type I, II, and III personal floatation devices are allowed at both pools. We allow water wings during family swim time at Horeb Springs Aquatic Center, but it is our recommendation that non-swimmers do not use water wings as they are easy to slip out of and provide a false sense of security. Puddle jumpers are a much better alternative to water wings as they have a buckle which secures the child in the personal floatation device.
