History

Longtime residents of Pasadena, Texas, Donna and Ricky Hughes envisioned a place that would serve as the perfect destination for hosting special occasions and events. Upon learning that Alvin Golf and Country Club was up for sale, the couple purchased the space and added a variety of architectural amenities, such as a gazebo, wishing well and picture bridge. Renaming it Donna's Legacy Event Center, the venue opened its doors to the public in 2017, becoming the perfect hidden gem for one-of-a-kind celebrations.
