Planning a wedding in the city is no small feat. We could never have had the most amazing wedding without Mandy. Her pleasant, calm, reassuring organized nature are the real deal. Her attention to detail and confidence help alleviate any worries if the day. We used her and her assistant as a day of coordinator but she checked in several times during the planning months with specific meeting calls. She has a time line that does not fail. Trust her,she is prepared for it all. She is so well connected. She was sure to provide us with the best resource’s available in the city.
As a friend said, who also used Rainstein design, “having Mandy being your coordinator allows the bride and MOB to feel what is like to be a guy at the wedding. All you have to do is show up!!!! Lol. She truely takes care of it all. “. My husband even commented that it was the best money spent as he saw how relaxed I was and able to enjoy every moment of our daughter’s wedding weekend.
So no matter how organized you think you are you still need Mandy.

Mandy! She's the best. She was with me in the planning process from the start, and she ensured that my vision came to life. She was especially helpful the month of, and day of, our wedding. She kept me on top of everything with gentle reminders the entire month of our wedding, and created the most amazing color- coordinated schedule. She personally communicated schedules and plans with other key vendors, such as photographer, videographer, and content creator. The day of our wedding she was a true superhero! She made sure that we were on time for everything (a miracle for me and my husband). She ensured that both the ceremony and reception ran according to plan, and also ensured that we had all of the moments that we communicated were important to us. Mandy is truly an amazing wedding planner- she is personable, sweet, intelligent, attentive, and efficient. -

Best Planner Ever!!
If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further! We used Mandy as our day-of wedding planner and we cannot recommend her enough! Wedding planning can be overwhelming at times but having Mandy there as a resource made the entire process so much more enjoyable! She coordinated with all of our vendors and created the timeline so we did not have to worry about any logistics. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives and Mandy was a big reason for this! We could enjoy the entire day and take in every moment (it goes by quickly!) Outside of Mandy being so kind, organized, flexible and a joy to work with, she also goes above and beyond in so many ways. Just a couple examples, my mom's dress had thread come loose and before we could even ask for assistance Mandy was there with a needle and thread (she has a magic fanny pack that is filled with anything you would need in an emergency :)) Our day was perfect even though it rained the entire day. The weather shifted our photo location but we trusted Mandy's recommendations and we couldn't be happier with how all the pictures turned out. If you are lucky enough to work with Mandy on your wedding day, I promise you will not regret it! -

Exceptional Experience
Mandy did an absolutely fabulous job with our Chuppah. She was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She took our vision and made it come true! During the wedding day she was approachable and wanted to make sure everything was done exactly how we wanted it. Mandy was so easy to work with and truly helped to make our dreams come true! -

One of the things my wife and I often joked about while planning our wedding was the fact that we weren't going to get a chance to learn from our mistakes. I don't know how many times I said "How am I supposed to make this decision without trying it out first?" and "How do I know if what I'm doing is going to be good or not?" And that's exactly why you hire someone like Mandy.
I'll be honest-- I was a skeptic about wedding planners at first. I was like "I'm sure we can figure this out on our own." I was wrong! As we got serious about planning, three things came to light: First, we didn't know what we didn't know. Second, I thought it would be easy to make decisions about my own wedding, I'd been to around 15 in my life and thought I knew what I wanted. The reality is it is WAY harder to make a decision when it's your wedding. It's the reason doctors don't operate on their own family members, there's too much emotion wrapped up in the decisions, and the pressure to make something perfect drives you into analysis-paralysis. Third, my wife and I both work full time, which meant that planning the wedding (which was like a part time job in itself except you pay other people lol) took up a lot of our free time. It meant that a lot of our planning time, ironically, was spent learning HOW to plan a wedding. Mandy was able to take all of this pressure off so we could focus on the creative decisions.
Mandy has an incredible eye for design and a wealth of experience to execute on it. She knows all the great vendors in Philly and where to get the best materials. She worked with us to stay within our budget and gave us tons of options to choose from. She read all our vendor contracts and kept us on schedule over the course of the *year* we spent planning. Probably best of all, Mandy is great at saying "no" to things that don't fit the overall vision for the wedding. It's hard to see the forest through the trees sometimes when you spend this long planning, and she does an amazing job keeping the big picture in view. And even when she says no, she still understands the intent behind the idea, and comes up with creative alternatives that DO accomplish what you want, in a way you may have never considered.
What's more important though is that Mandy is truly a wonderful person. From day one, we got the sense that this was more than just a "job" for her-- she genuinely wants you to have the best day of your life, and she wants to help make it happen. In the final weeks leading up to our wedding, Mandy was so much more than just our planner-- she was our coach, our mentor, our sounding board, and our cheerleader. What's even more impressive-- every once in a while she would casually mention another wedding she had done recently, leaving us wondering how she could possibly spend this much time paying attention to us and still have the energy to manage other weddings. And she's a mom. She must have a twin or some sort of superpower or something. She's just incredible.
Finally, I do not know how we could have possibly pulled off the timeline that we had on our wedding day without Mandy. One of the questions I got ad nauseam from my married friends and relatives was "So, anything go wrong yet? Something ALWAYS goes wrong." Well, if it did, I sure didn't hear about it. Mandy managed the setup at the venue, the vendors loading in and out, she managed the timeline for my wife, brought an assistant for my timeline, made sure all of our wedding party and parents were in the right place at the right time, coordinated the photographer and driver so we could hit all of our must-have locations in under an HOUR between the ceremony and the reception... honestly I don't know how we could have managed all of that AND still had the time to enjoy ourselves. And that's really the thing you need to try and preserve on your wedding day-- you want to actually enjoy the thing you've worked so hard for. If nothing else, Mandy can make that happen for you.
Mandy, thank you so much for everything you did for us. Words can't express our sincere gratitude for all of the weekend texts, the last minute video chats, the in person meetings with the venue, the rehearsal, and the wedding. We are just in awe of you and quite literally could not have done this without you. Everything was magic! -

I worked with Mandy for month/day of coordination of my wedding 6/4/22 and was thoroughly impressed with how easy she made my life and how great of an experience it was. She made communication with, reconfirmed and communicated all new details with all vendors. She made sure the tiny details and wishes of mine were captured, followed up on and happened the day of. She made a timeline for us for the day of that was to die for... All of my bridesmaids read through it and were so jealous they didn't have something like that for their wedding... And anyone can... They just need to work with Mandy LOL. She kept us on track the whole day, with some minor tweaks that are inevitable to happen day of. She was flexible if I wanted to change something day of, and just made everything happen without lifting a finger. She had an incredible secondary planner, Ronnie, who was amazing as well. These ladies are beautiful inside and out and a have a great "make it happen" mentality. Even helping the photographers with little details, reminding bridal party to smile and keep their chins up in pictures, wrangling rambunctious groomsmen... They do it all!!!!! -

Every bride should work with Events by Rainstein Design!
I could not speak more highly of Events by Rainstein Design. Events by Rainstein Design made everything about the wedding process, the wedding weekend, and the wedding day easier, which is a sure sign of an amazing vendor I have learned.
Leading up the wedding, Mandy and her team not only thought of every single detail, but they also proactively took the initiative of making sure all of those details were in order. Then, when the wedding was here, they took charge during the Rehearsal, the wedding day while we were getting ready and the wedding events (ceremony, cocktail, reception). I put 100% of my trust in the team and they did not disappoint one bit. The wedding would not have nearly been as successful, stress free, or fun had it not been for their leadership, attention to detail, responsiveness, organization, and their direction. Also their recommendations, like the way we should process during the ceremony, made everything better and they elevated our wedding to a level that we did not know we could reach.
Every bride and groom would be lucky to work with the Events by Rainstein Design team because they took care of everything so that myself and my (now) husband were able to enjoy ourselves and our friends and family without giving anything a second thought. I cannot speak more highly of our experience with this vendor and I hope I have an excuse to work with them again in the future! -

Thank you Mandy for making our engagement photoshoot so memorable! Without your help, I’m not sure our day would have been a fraction of what it was without your guidance and support. I’m so glad I met Mandy during the wedding planning process. I was looking for someone who would help me with wedding planning, decor creation, and day of coordination. I met with many planners, but Mandy was the only person who I really liked and truly vibed with. On our first call, it felt like I was catching up with an old friend. She does a great job of building rapport, offering a listening ear, and being a problem solver.
She made such beautiful signs and backdrops for our wedding. She is so talented! She also kept me grounded the day of and helped problem solve on the day of the ceremony. We had really bad weather 45 minutes before my ceremony, so we had to pivot everything to a different location indoors, and Mandy handled it all like a pro. You’d never know there was a change in plan, and everything was beautiful! You will not be disappointed hiring Mandy to be part of your wedding day! -

I knew we meshed with Mandy right away when she immediately understood our aesthetic and we spent almost 2 hours talking initially about plans for our wedding. She was so supportive through 2 years of planning, a postponement, a venue change and more. She helped me organize my vendors, brainstorm and execute the design of my wedding, and gave me constant advice at every turn. The weeks leading up to the wedding we texted and called at all hours, she alleviated my fears and kept me perfectly sane and organized. Everything turned out incredible!! Every one of my friends in the wedding party told me how much they loved Mandy and how they would have to have her at their weddings and just wanted to be friends with her. We would be lost without her. She saved the day on more than one occasion, picking up the slack from our venue. Even during the party she and her awesome assistant Ciara, moved things into our reception and made sure everything looked perfect. She was so invested in our vision and our happiness and I cannot imagine having done this without her. -

Even after multiple postponements, Mandy exceeded all of our expectations. Throughout the endless planning process, she communicated with us and our vendors without any issue and made us feel like we were her only clients. She had great recommendations and ideas that we would never had thought of if it were not for her expertise. Mandy was always able to give us more than enough time, attention, and collaboration with a personal touch. She was a calm presence among the chaos of the day, and brought organization to the entire day. Her poised and compassionate leadership encouraged us to relax because we knew the day was in the best hands. We love you Mandy! -

One of the Best Decisions we’ve ever made!
Navigating through a pandemic with 2 small children is stressful enough. Adding wedding planning and a postponement to that mix seemed impossible until we found Amanda! She made our lives so much easier with her professionalism and knowledge. Her warm and kind personality was so helpful during a crazy time. Because of covid we decided to have a Microwedding and it was such an amazing and flawless day thanks to her! I can’t say enough about how much of a great job she did down to each vendor and detail! Can’t wait to have the official big day as soon as everything is safe. -

I had been reaching out to local florists trying to frantically find a chuppah for my June wedding. I wasn’t having much luck and was seriously stressing out! Then one night when I was scrolling Instagram (trying to hush my wedding worries), I saw two photos of beautiful wooden backdrops that immediately made me stop scrolling. I looked into the tags on the photos, and found out that they were created by Events by Rainstein Designs. I quickly looked them up and was happy to see they were local! I immediately sent them an email about building a chuppah for our wedding. Mandy got back to me so quickly, and we eagerly began the collaborative design process right away! She hadn’t created a chuppah before, but she knocked it out of the park! She sent me photos of the chuppah once it was constructed, and draped chiffon on it like we discussed in my inspiration photos. Beautiful!
On the day of the wedding, Mandy worked with my florist to decorate the chuppah in chiffon, tallits for the canopy, and two floral installments. And let me tell you, this chuppah was a creation of love and was everything I dreamed of and MORE! It was the perfect staple for our ceremony (just look at the stunning photos!)
Mandy’s demeanor was always pleasant (including when I ran into her in the hall of my venue on my wedding day), and she was always quick to answer my questions, which is a huge plus for a bride like me who has loads of questions!
It was a pleasure working with Mandy and I’m so glad she and her creative vision were part of my special day! -
