Thomas L. Plaitano, Esquire

Attorney Tom L. Plaitano is a partner in Westmoreland Injury Lawyers LLC, where he has dedicated his legal practice to helping clients get the compensation they deserve for their injuries. He has been with the firm for 18 years and has helped numerous clients achieve results in that time.

Tom received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1989 from Ohio Northern University and was admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania and the Federal District Court, both in 1989.

Tom has been a member of the Westmoreland Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers' Compensation Law Section, and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

He has also been active in his local community through the Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation, D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), and Reality Tour, an evidence-based drug prevention program for adults, teenagers, and children. He also designed and developed Westmoreland County's Get-In Project, which helps educate the public on the dangers of prescription drugs.

Tom has always concentrated his practice in representing individuals who are injured either at work or through the fault of others. He has extensive experience in representing individuals in workers' compensation cases and Social Security disability awards.

In addition to representing injured workers and disability claimants, Tom has over 18 years of experience representing individuals in class-action lawsuits for injuries caused by defective drugs and medical devices. He has handled cases against numerous large pharmaceutical and medical device companies, including Merck, Wyeth, GlaxoSmithKline, and the A.H. Robins Company. Christopher A. Vallano, Esquire

Attorney Chris A. Vallano is a partner in Westmoreland Injury Lawyers LLC, joining the firm in 1998. Prior to this position, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph A. Hudock on the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

Chris received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1997 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and was admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania in 1998 and the U.S. District Court of Western Pennsylvania in 2006.

Chris has been a member of the Westmoreland County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He has also been active in his local community through his association with the Rotary Club of Westmoreland, Maxwell Activities Association (MAA), and Hempfield Area Youth Athletic Association (HAYAA), proving he is truly a neighbor helping neighbors.
