ABOUT WILD ROSE BEACH COTTAGE
This beautiful cottage is a two-minute walk to a quiet, private sandy beach at Cousins Shore. The cottage is ideal for a couple (one bedroom on the main level with a queen bed) or a small group with adults/older children since there is an open, upper loft above the living area with one double bed and two single beds. Enjoy the fully equipped, compact kitchen with everything you need to enjoy meals at the six seat dining table. The renovated bathroom with shower is located on the main level. The cottage is designed to maximize views -- spectacular sunsets, pastoral landscapes and a garden area. If you like sun, sand, water and privacy, this is the place for you! The cottage is located in a prime location on PEI's North Shore -- close to nature, dunes, and wildlife with an unobstructed view of the sea. Seasons change, and so too does the scenery. Visit between the end of May to end of October.

About The Area
The cottage is located in the GREEN GABLES SHORE area.
This area provides for a range of activities -beach, golf, theatre, music, nature walks, cycling, deep sea fishing and sea kayaking–all within an easy 20 minutes of each other. The cottage is 15 minutes from the town of Kensington where you can find groceries, restaurants, a pharmacy, a liquor store, bike rentals and more.
The north shore is renowned for its scenic landscape -red sandstone cliffs, sand beaches, water views and rolling farm fields. Cavendish is a 25-minute drive away and is a favourite destination because of its National Park, Cavendish beach and a range of attractions - amusement parks, go-carting, water slides, mini-golf, shopping and Avonlea Villiage which features local restaurants and stores.
Fans of Anne of Green Gables and her creator, Lucy Maud Montgomery will enjoy Lake of ShiningWaters, The Anne of Green Gables Museum and LM Montgomery's birthplace - a short drive away.
Music lovers should investigate Under the Spire Music Festival (USMF) at St. Mary's Church, the largest wooden church on P.E.I. and known for its outstanding acoustics. Performances run throughout the summer. The church is approx. 15 minutes from the cottage. The Green Gables Shore area is known for having numerous ceilidh and concerts throughout the summer.
