Absolutely the most unprofessional clinic I have ever been to.
I came here several months back in early November last year, was feeling extremely sick. I always try to veer away from clinics especially whilst overseas because it does cost me an arm and a leg to pay for this service especially when I have a $100 excess on my international insurance. Nevertheless, I was in dire need of seeing a doctor.
Im writing this review solely on the fact that the staff here are seriously unprofessional.
Upon arriving, the young receptionist didn't greet us. The clinic was empty, it was 9am in the morning. I'm probably the first patient that they would see. The clinic is pretty brand new and in Narnia (a part of Mesquite where no-one would hardly go to) so foot traffic is close to zero. She was the least bit friendly. I wanted to tell her to SMILE.
I waited for 30-40 minutes to see a Nurse as the doctor wasn't there ... looking around, there was no other patient...
The assistant that assessed me was friendly, she weighed and measured me, checked that my vital signs are normal.
When I saw the nurse named Soney, didn't really know what I had. She wrongly diagnosed me. (I know, because when I saw my family who are all in the Medical field, being doctors and nurses advised me otherwise this past Christmas.) On top of my wrong diagnosis, she really appeared like she did not know what she was doing.. I kid you not. I asked for a medical certificate with her full diagnosis so I could send it to my insurance company for overseas claims, it took her at least 40 minutes to write this.. My medical certificate looked like someone with no medical background wrote it as there were errors. On top of that, when we went out onto the main lobby where the receptionist is, Soney was talking to me so loudly for everyone in the room to basically hear..
Not impressed. For $99, I got a wrong diagnosis, terrible bedside manner, a rude receptionist, and a joke of a medical certificate.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Clay H.Mesquite, TX166502Jun 21, 2014
Waste of time and money.
I went here after experiencing abdominal pain.
Seeing only 1 patient in the waiting room and 1 in the back, I though I would be able to see a Dr. quickly. I waited for an hour to get a room. A nurse took vitals and I waited another hour to see a Dr. When I did, he did no further tests and just sent me to the ER.
I went here to avoid the ER. Everything I had read about them sounded good. It looked like they could any kind of test I needed from what I read online. In less than 15 minutes I was told to leave cause he wasn't sure.
The only thing he claimed to do was call ahead to let them know I needed a CT scan. The Dr name he gave me wasn't even there when I got there. The hospital was 10 minutes from this office. Did he even call?
When you're in pain or need a serious medical opinion, this is the last place on Earth to go.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jim L.Mesquite, TX1865Apr 12, 2015
Deceptive practices. Be warned...They call themselves urgent care, but try to charge ER rates and insurance co-pays.

The most unprofessional clinic I have ever been to. I am in the military, and we are visiting family in the area. My 1 year old son began running a 103 degree fever. After calling 1st Class Urgent Care Center to see if we could get our son in, we were told they were seeing people by appointment only because the doctor was servicing another clinic all morning. The receptionist told us she would call us back once she could get an appointment for us. Three phone calls and an hour later, I finally get an answer and am told the earliest they could see him is 1pm. We made the appointment, and showed up at 1.
While signing in, the receptionist informed us that the doctor wasn't going to be in all day and asked if we could reschedule for tomorrow. She told us that she had just found out 2 hours earlier. When asked why she didn't call to tell us, she changed her story and said she just found out the doctor wasn't going to make it.
They had no concern for our son's care and seemed annoyed that we would question their decision not to call us. There are many options around the Mesquite area. We went here first (and delayed our son's care for 6 hours) because that's where our insurance sent us. Take your business, and more importantly, your medical concerns somewhere else.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Natalie T.Dallas, TX01Jan 7, 2018
I was disappointed with my quality of care on December 27, 2017. During my visit, it was discovered that I had a sinus infection and bronchitis. While looking in my ears, the doctor even said "I can see the fluid from the infection". At the end of my visit, I was given 2 medications (both for bronchitis). I thought it was odd that I wasn't prescribed anything for the sinus infection, but I didn't think to question a medical professional. Over the next week, the bronchitis improved but the sinus infection got worse. In turn, the bronchitis worsened too. I went back to the facility January 6, 2018 to explain what happened and to ask for a prescription for the sinus infection. I was told that I would have to pay another $133 for a second office visit. I was absolutely offended that I received inappropriate care during my initial visit then asked to pay a second visit. The staff was quick and friendly on my first visit. However, that is truly insignificant when I'm still fighting an illness over a week later due to an improper treatment plan.

Whatever you do, DO NOT GO HERE! We have been here twice. First experience was pleasant. I had been bitten by a dog very badly on my finger and they had prescribed me medication. I had come again almost a year later in April 2015. I had paid onsite for some blood testing I was needing done. After I paid they said there's an extra charge they didn't disclose before I would need to pay. Whatever, I understand. I paid it. A month later, they had forwarded the charges to the lab that did my blood testing for payment. I had already paid onsite! And they didn't disclose the lab would charge me as well? We had tried to contact a manager but was told they don't have one onsite. They had someone that comes around every few days and we could leave a voicemail and they would call back. We never got a call back. We finally were able to speak to a receptionist that told us we shouldn't have to pay twice, there must have been mistake. That was a relief. They said no need to call the lab, they would handle it. We called back to make sure it was handled. We were assured it was. We've received statements in the mail for months on end. Every time we call 1st Class we are told it's handled. We've called the lab and they said nobody's contacted them. FINALLY, it's over 4 months later and the invoice is closed. You have no idea how many hours we've spent on the phone on something that was sent over to the lab and almost sent to a collection agency for something we paid for when we were there! We've called every week and have been assured that it was handled and taken care of, just to find out it wasn't. I just don't understand how we kept asking to speak to someone in charge, only to be denied every time. We weren't happy with the charges, but we understood and paid them. We didn't think this experience would haunt us every day for 4 months. We'd like to speak to a manager but obviously, one is never around to handle our concerns.

WARNING!!! This office is deceptive and very unprofessional! I took my child there a few months ago for a simple cough and congestion issue, after waiting for over 2hrs due to their system being down we finally were brought back to a room and was seen by a PA and we were given one prescription I paid my office visit and we were on our way. Then I get a bill in the mail a month later stating I owed a large amount for Xrays of the foot and a Level 4 office visit which by the way not only was that incorrect charges and codes not to mention the real issue here which is insurance FRAUD at its finest!!!! I called and spoke to a young lady and she said no worries she would give to her office mgr and it would be corrected. Obviously, I never thought of it again until I try to take my son back there and the rude and very inexperienced young man at the front desk area calls me up to collect the same large amount that was not mine to begin with. I told him I do not owe that told him this was supposed to have been fixed and what kind of practice are you running here. He made a call and still did not get anything resolved. I was livid by this point and felt very taken advantage of that this was still going on after the fact that I was assured it was handled months ago. He as well as the other young lady were not helpful in any way they acted like it was my problem not theirs. My point to tell you this is steer clear from this place. they do not have you or your families best interest at heart. If this happened to me I am sure its happening to many others and it seems pretty normal for them!!!! We left and went to another one where we were treated kindly and not like a problem. Looking back the parking lot was empty now I know why!
