5-Star Movers

This was the smoothest move I've had yet. The communication was prompt and very professional. Zane and Jay couldn't have been easier to work with. If you want a move day without any drama I would call 5-Star Movers.

Amazing company! Fairly priced, hard working and fast! Used 6 of them for 6 hours last week and couldn't have been happier! Ended up being around $1300. Would recommend.

Wow!!! Not the least expensive but hands down I was not disappointed. They are worth the cost!! Nick was always quick to communicate and that builds trust with me. The 26 ft truck was completely full and they had to unload in a recent snow/ice storm. The guys were friendly and hard working and my job was not easy.
Hire them and you won't be worried about your items!!!

Just stop looking for other movers right now and book these guys. Unbelievable.

My wife and I just relocated from Chicago to Minneapolis and had singularly the worst possible experience leaving Chicago with an absolute disaster of a moving company called Chicago Movers (please if you for whatever reason are looking for movers in Chicago, avoid them at all costs). On my 7 hour drive in a 26 foot truck, I panic called 5 star to add another person to help make the unload go a bit smoother. First off, that was overkill. Still happy I did it, but wow did we not need it.

This crew was right on time, the nicest guys and had a little red carpet to protect our entry way as they unloaded. 2 hours. 2 hours flat. What was a 5 hour move out with the aforementioned disaster of a moving service in Chicago where I personally moved the majority of my belongings, was 2 hours and every time I tried to pop in and grab something, they had already grabbed it.

As mentioned at the beginning of this message, please just stop looking for other movers and book these saintly fellows. You will not be disappointed.

Added stress to an already stressful day. Would never use again. No masks as promised, no safety at all as promised, did not have their own truck used a U Haul. Arrived and started late. Nick who said he is one of the owners was completely Rude and the most unprofessional business owner I have ever dealt with. He's very lucky I don't give a true google review, with pictures of what happened. It was rediculous!
They use subs for their crew, the guys were fine and I don't blame them at all for the terrible situation my family was put in. It's all on the owner Nick.

I used 5-star movers for the first time at the end of Dec 2021 to help me load a container for moving. Jay and Connor did a great job! They were friendly, considerate of box weight, and tried to minimize damage to my things. There was a little mishap regarding charges that I wasn't made aware of when deciding to go forward with the company, but Nick worked it out with me. He was responsive and professional which I appreciate.

Quick response/bid and on time for the job. We had additional hands helping with the move, which made it go MUCH faster. The movers forgot their tools and some parts at our 'old home' which required us to go back and get them, in order to re-assemble our furniture. That tacked on additional time, but otherwise was pretty straight forward. Not overly impressed, but they got the job done. They were the most affordable (cheapest) bid, with no extra fees, which was great.

Hired them after looking around for a while because they had good reviews, turns out the reviews are definitely right on. After initially talking to them on the phone looking for a quote and time availabilities, everything came out to be exactly what I was needing. They showed up right on time and I had no problems getting in contact with them the day of, or any day prior. They sent two guys to help me out and they did a great job, were super nice, and were very quick. I had originally allotted 2 hours for moving, but I knew that sometimes things seem quicker than they actually are. That being said, they literally only took 2.5 hours which was great. After things were moved in, a few days later I turned on my tv and noticed that the screen inside had been damaged. I was afraid that I was going to call and have someone tell me "how do we know it wasn't already broken," but instead they talked with the two movers and then asked me for the make and model of my tv and ultimately reimbursed me for the damage without any further questions. This has definitely been one of my easiest moves, highly recommend hiring them!
