512 Solar

My roof needs to be replaced due to the hail damage last summer. The solar company used by the roofing company has very low rating on yelp. I selected 512 solar based on their yelp review. Jane is on top of the communication, she has details in the plan and schedule, and reply to email and call quickly. The crew are professional with the the installation and on schedule. Few minor issues though, the new solar edge inverter seems having quality issue, it does not work all the time, 18 days of the past month only start to generate power in the afternoon, not sure whether it's temperature related? JP and Austin are contacting solar edge and hope it can be resolved soon. The new rec panel make noise when there is strong wind, which my old suniva panels did not have this issues. I guess we have to live with it, but it would be nice if i can get warning about this when selecting the panels.
Overall I am happy with 512 solar and will update the inverter issue later.

Over 6 years ago, I chose 512 Solar to install our panels, so glad I did! The support to this day has been excellent. They know how to work with the manufacturers of the products to resolve any issues. We have an efficient home energy wise. So with the 512 Solar panels, I love seeing all the $50-$70 electric bills!

My husband and I wanted to add solar panels to our roof, and we're so glad we went with 512 Solar. They were efficient, responsive, and within budget. We did our installation in 2022 and have seen our energy bills lower than ever before! (We have some shade on our roof so we didn't do the full roof, ~20 panels or so, but it worked out well.) They did the rebate work with the city so our out-of-pocket cost wasn't exorbitant at all.

Our household also recently purchased a second electric vehicle so we contacted 512 Solar again, this time for a level 2 charger installation. Once again, 512 Solar was excellent at getting our quote together, suggesting two hardwired chargers that the city does rebates on, and actually getting the work done as well. We have to do the final step with submitting the rebate paperwork to the city, I believe, but that's small beans compared to all the work that JP and Huiyun did for us at the outset.

Really happy we went with these folks and will continue to recommend their business!

I had hired another solar company to remove solar panels off one house to put on to another and unfortunately the other company left me stranded after reinstalling the panels in the current house. The electric company was waiting on connection in order to inspect and no one was willing to help. I called 512 Solar based off the reviews I saw and am so thankful I did. JP, the owner, was willing to take my situation and completely helped finish out the project and inspection was passed with no problems. I now have functioning solar panels! I wouldn't recommend anyone else for solar panels!

I contacted 512 Solar after reading the numerous positive reviews on Yelp. JP came out and surveyed the roof layout, and provided a couple different configurations for consideration. After deciding on the right fit for our budget and needs, JP and Huiyun kept me up to date through all stages of the project, and his team provided a quality install in a timely manner.

Very pleased with the over experience with 512 Solar, and would highly recommend them for all your solar needs.

An update to my original review, we were so happy with 512 Solar that we decided to have another 10-panels installed. The team at 512 Solar mounted the initial 22-panels in a way that allowed us to easily expand our system. Updated photo shows all 32-panels installed.
