Came here on a Tuesday for an oil change (they have weekly sales on Tues and Thurs)! Got greeted and attended to by Dickson who was very friendly and transparent about my car services.
In and out in less than one hour to get my oil change and tires rotated. Second time here and is now my go to place. Shout out to Dickson!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I came here because my break was giving out a loud noise. Upon a preliminary inspection they quoted me for a new brake. I agreed and the technician began their work. After further inspection they found the cause and informed me I don't need to pay for the new brake. Totally appreciated their honesty. They could have installed the new brake and took more money from me but they didn't. Thank you

Walked in at 8:30 for an oil change. Was taken care of right away. It cost $67 for my Honda HRV. About $107 for synthetic. Was in and out in 30 mins!

I'm glad that Stephen responded so you can see exactly how willing this business is to lie and distort the truth in order to scam unsatisfied customers into thinking it was their fault that their car suddenly stops working after receiving service in their garage.
1. I never said the car shut off. I told them that I was changing the spark plug wires because the spark plug wires were originals from 190k miles ago (wow) and I had recently changed the distributor and I couldn't get the spark plug wires out myself. I am not surprised at all that either they don't remember or they have chosen to lie about how I represented the service that I wanted done on the vehicle.
2. The car was not in limp mode, that's simply untrue. I was driving this on the freeway without issues, none of the symptoms that you can see in the article that I am linking here:
https://mechanicbase.com/engine/limp-mode/
The coolant was leaking, yes, but I top it off with reverse osmosis water every time I drive and it's simply a lie that it was low on coolant and overheating. Yes, the mechanic pointed out that the clamp for two hoses underneath were leaking, I thanked him and I didn't tighten them when I got home because the truck has been working fine and filling with water every time I drive keeps the temperatures normal.
On top of that, they claim that I spent $45 when the total I spent was just over $82. I'm attaching a photo of the total on my receipt to help show you that this nightmare mechanic couldn't care less about telling the truth.
3. Yes, the engine was burning oil after service and I came back to ask why this was happening. The "master mechanic" even said "I smell it" and told me to hose down the engine to fix it.
They are simply lying when they claim that I say "I don't need to do that" - I said thanks and I'll get it done when I can. More lies from this scam mechanic. Adding water every time I drive (the coolant leak has been going on for under 6 months) works just fine and the temperature on the gauge stays normal. They didn't even look at this car closely, they just needed to make up a story to pretend that I did the damage myself.
Here's a video that any of you and hopefully this clueless scam mechanic can watch of a popular online mechanic who explains why exactly you should never do an engine flush for older cars:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Thszl7visBU
I have no clue why 76 Pro Lube offers this service to older vehicles, considering the fact that other mechanics know how that alone can destroy engines and result in the exact same situation I'm in now. The coolant never smelled like burnt oil before I got this done, a few days after and now I'm considering if I should just junk this vehicle.
4. You bet I said the F word and also the A word to these scam mechanics when they proceeded to lie to my face and claim that there's no way their service resulted in my head gasket blowing. I stand by that decision and I'm sure many other customers would also when faced with that common nightmare mechanic situation where they're literally laughing in your face over the damage they did to your car. It's a bald-faced lie that I cursed at any other customers or any other crew than the "master mechanic" (what a joke) and one of the other workers there who came and stood there laughing in my face too. I said these words to two people, I also called them predators who only have a business because there's no watchdog that shuts them down for doing things like this.
I really feel bad for this business that they need to scam customers in order to make a living. And to make false public statements about their behavior and the state of their vehicle to try and cover up for the destruction they caused. You decide for yourself based on reading both our reviews who is telling the truth and who is lying over and over again.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This is INCORRECT INFOMRATION. Scroll to the bottom for TLDR.
The vehicle failed to run is because Adam failed to fix the coolant leak issue and engine overheated despite shop mechanics recommended him TWICE. Here is the side of the story from the shop.
1. Customer Adam called the shop and asked for sparkle plugs wires because the car "shut off".
2. Customer Adam brought the car to the shop. After our initial inspection, we noticed the car was in "limp" mode. The coolant was severely leaking and the engine was overheating. Our technician pointed out that the clam for the coolant was not tight under the vehicle. He said "just did the oil change and flush. I will do the clam myself when i get home". The mechanics went on and finished his engine flush and changed his oil with a new oil filter. It costed him only $45 or so.
3. A few days later, Adam came back in and asked why he smelled "burn" in the engine. Our mechanic asked him if he tightens the hose clam and fix the coolant leak issue. He replied "I don't need to do that. I have been having this car for 2 years and it never needed one." Instead, he started to blame us " You should not flush the engine for my car". The statement he made is completely false and our shop flushed the engine for older vehicles on a regular basis.
4. He went on and started to make a scene in the shop. He started to curse us and call us "F" words. Hi erratic behavior scared other customers at the shop. In order to keep an friendly environment we politely "refuse to serve him any more".
TLDR: Adam brought a "limp mode" vehicle with an overheating engine. The mechanic recommended engine flush and oil change to clean any burnt residues. Also recommended him to fix the coolant's severe leak issue but customer wanted to do it on his own. Days later, he came back and started to blame on us for his failed engine. We saw due to the leak, there was no fluid in the coolant, It caused the engine to overheat and hence "the burn". Adam refused to listen to us, got erratic and started to threaten the business, curse at our shop's crew and other customers here too. His behavior scared everyone in the shop and we politely asked him to leave. Everything is recorded in the security footage to back our statement.Feb 9, 2021Previous reviewNEVER GO TO THIS MECHANIC
I came here to replace spark plug wires that I was having trouble taking out of my 1995 Ford F150. They agreed to do it and also upsold me on an oil change and engine flush. I double checked if I really needed a flush and the guy convinced me it was a good idea.
He showed up 30 minutes later with my sparkplug wires and said they refused to change them because of electrical risk since I have a coolant leak that I have been babying for the last 6 months. They can disconnect the battery to remove that risk, but they just didn't want to do it.
Fast forward two days, I come back because my engine stinks like burning oil, fumes were giving me nausea even while driving with windows open. Mechanic says just hose off my engine and give it a few days.
I come back 3 days later after my truck died on the freeway, which required a tow truck to get me home. The coolant now stinks like burnt oil and the truck can only drive for 10 minutes before it begins to misfire and ends up coming to a halt. I explain this situation to the mechanic, who said that I am not keeping coolant in there, which is flat wrong since I add reverse osmosis water every time I drive.
I explained to him that my normal mechanic and any research you do on the internet tells you to never do an engine flush on old vehicles, because it can ruin the valve guides and head gasket, other seals in your engine, resulting in the exact situation I am in now. White smoke pouring out the tailpipe. I wish I knew this before agreeing to the engine flush.
It devolved into a shouting match since this clown of a mechanic decided to blame me and pretend that the engine flush had zero impact on the vehicle. Put it this way: the truck drove fine before this, and now I am looking at $2000 to repair the engine. I bought this truck for $2500 3 years ago. You know the story.
Never go to this mechanic, they are abusive and predatory in their business practices, not to mention uneducated enough to flush old vehicles without a second thought or warning to the customer of what can possibly happen. Of what other mechanics know can happen. - Phuong T.West Grove Valley, Santa Ana, CA1847Feb 3, 2022
That is bad Lube shop. DON'T GO HERE. I come here where they didn't have customer. They don't have oil filter but they don't tell you. They take out all oil and tell you maybe you must wait 1 day for order oil filter. I must take lyft and buy it. Where I came back with oil filter and they didn't work with my car. They fix the car come after me. WTF...Don't come here if you don't want kill your time.

The service here is good, workers are hardworking, their price is okay, wait times is fair, staffs are polite and friendly. Every Tuesdays and Thursdays their oil change is $19.99 + tax for their members, synthesis blend grade oil up to 5Qrts.

I had wanted to my get oil changed after making a trip to Westminster. This was closest to our hotel so we came here. Our plan was to go to San Diego for a few days then head back home to the Bay Area. I used to be a express lube tech at Hyundai and Kia and I can do everything they did in 12 minutes flat and that's with a tire rotation by myself. They had 4 guys working on an oil change and windshield wipers and still couldn't manage to do it right. Imagine if the drain plug was to fall mid drive back home. That's an 8 hour drive with a van full of kids. It's obvious that they only hand tightened it and "forgot" to torque it. I'm glad I caught the oil leak before my engine went out on the freeway on a work day.
