I was referred to Patricia at A French Touch Salon for her vast experience and in-depth knowledge about skin. I have struggled with acne and discoloration since I was 12 years old. Now at 22, I decided it was time to invest in my skin, talk to a professional, and get real results. My experience with Patricia was exactly that.
The products she has to offer at her salon are top notch and clinical. This means they are actually backed by science and have to go through numerous test because they are actually proven to work!!! Patricia knows her stuff and can guide you to choosing products that suit your skin type and help improve problem areas.
Patricia lead me to try the Jan Marini System and it was truly one of the best decisions in my life. Before, I was dissatisfied and deeply saddened with my skin and acne. I had red marks all over my face and painful breakouts. I had even gone to my doctor about my skin and was prescribed topicals and other medications. With no luck and no results, i felt embarrassed leaving the house without makeup.
After taking Patricia's amazing recommendations my skin looks the best it has ever looked. My acne has cleared up, my red marks are fading rapidly, and my skin is hydrated and simply GLOWS. I am now building up the confidence to go out without makeup. When I look at my skin in the mirror, I smile instead of look away with a frown.

Patricia is amazing and my experience there was like none other. The setting is so peaceful & clean and Patricia is so kind and connected. I can totally see and feel a difference in my skin. I just wanted to fall asleep there and wake up 8 hours later. Amazing experience.

Patricia is the best esthetician in SLO. I was worried after living in bigger cities that I wouldn't find someone who knew what they were doing in a small, agricultural town, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I trust her with my skin completely and wish I could see her for facials every day! She is also an amazing business owner in that she donated to a cause very dear to my heart (supporting a friend of mine) and even mailed me a little birthday surprise. Gosh, talk about going way above and beyond! This is why I live in SLO--people are so kind and considerate here.

So, I'd recommend Patricia both for her amazing skin care/makeup tutorials, and more importantly, for being the kind of business owner that contributes to the community. I like to vote with my dollar, and she gets my vote both for the quality of product/service and the integrity of the business. (I saw that she donated to KCBX (our local version of NPR), too, and I wasn't surprised. Of course she did. She's cool like that.)

I needed to replenish some skin care products that can be hard to find. Patricia's salon website is user friendly, thorough and beautiful as well. Thinking it would take at least a week to arrive, what a surprise to find my purchases delivered quickly and prettily assembled. Will definitely be visiting again - competitive pricing, too!

Lindsay is THE best. This is the ONLY place you should ever go for Brazilian. I got spoiled in LA with an old esthetician who was actually Brazilian and KNEW what she was doing. Well, let me tell you I have tried a few other spa/salons in SLO and had awful experiences- No One has the right education (technique will make or break your experience). And Lindsay rocks. She has lots of experience and proper training, I am so impressed (and thankful). Also, The wax they use is REALLY superb.
Overall very professional, kind, beautiful women who run the salon. The salon is clean, bright, and cute. The facial menu is amazing and all their products are high quality, even specialty makeup.

After asking my friend why her skin looked so amazing I learned about Patricia and A French Touch.

I have gone back for several facials and I can say that this the best place in town. Patricia is a amazing, professional and always takes her time. She is always right on time for our appointments which doesn't happen at most other places. The staff is always kind and the environment is very relaxing.

Highly recommend. A gift certificate here would make a great gift for a special lady in your life.
