A Paradise Dream Wedding

I'm pretty sure this was the most stress free wedding that's ever existed. They handle everything. The flowers were beautiful, my make up was great. I was freaking out the morning of and the wedding planner helped handle everything. Brandon the photographer was amazing. The only thing I don't know about was the music because I was in such a cloud but I'm sure it was amazing too haha. Our officiant was so kind and nice with a great demeanor. Everything was perfect, literally nothing wrong at all which is amazing and unheard of. Pairing this company with my lunch reception at Gannons was a match made in heaven, they worked so well together. Plus the price was really awesome.

Thanks to a paradise dream wedding we were able to experience a beautiful, almost stress free wedding in April 2015. Planning a wedding, let alone planning a wedding from a different state on an island you've never visited could be scary. Jayanne Jefferys was a dream to work with. She was prompt on responses when I had questions, gave me lists of recommendations and planned everything I had asked her for including hiring someone for hair and make up. I could not have been more pleased with their services. Our pictures came out amazing! Thank you Arien Sherman for capturing our special day!

Well what can I say, I found A Paradise Dream Wedding while searching for a photographer to capture what was to be one of the most special days of my life. As I searched through the different photographers I came across the portfolio of Branden Sequeira his photos seemed stand out from all the rest. When I called to see if Branden was available for the date I had chosen for my wedding I was immediately assisted by Jo with A Paradise Dream Wedding she was able to provide me with all of the information that I needed to make an informed decision.

Once I decided that Branden was the person I wanted to photograph my wedding Jo was able to help me with everything, she was even able to set us up with an appointment with Branden. Upon arriving in Maui my husband and I were able to meet with Branden, he was so awesome and friendly.

I just received my photos and I cannot begin to say how AMAZING Branden is, Thank you so much to Jo for all of your help. And a special THANK YOU to Branden for capturing our wedding day in a way that we could have only dreamed of!

My husband and I had an amazing experience from the beginning working with A Paradise Dream Wedding! Every time I e-mailed or called Jayanne, our wedding coordinator, she got back to me right away and made sure everything was taken care of. I could not have dreamed of a more perfect wedding thanks to her incredible planning. A week before our wedding she had to change our minister and we could not have been happier with her choice. We were fortunate enough to get Robert (Kuya) Alamodin. He was so much fun and performed a beautiful heartfelt ceremony for us. Everything turned out perfect!
Jayanne also made sure that we had the best musician and an onsite coordinator,JJ, that took care of everything. She was great! Not only did she have everything set up down on the beach, but she helped calm my nerves when I arrived and saw that it was raining. Once our videographer (Brian) and photographers (Gordon Nash & Brandon Vincent) got to the beach they were patient enough to wait for the rain to pass, which didn't last long. Everyone was so kind and nice about everything!
The next day we were able to watch our wedding video that Brian put together. We could not believe how fast he got it done. I have never heard of anyone getting to see their wedding video the next day and have it be so beautiful. We are in love with it and still can't stop watching it! Not to mention our photos that Gordon and Brandon took...WOW! They are breathtaking!! We could not be more pleased with all of them and how fast we got them back. We were expecting to wait over a month but we got them back within a few weeks. Both Gordon and Brandon were a lot of fun to work with and we were very impressed with everything everyone at A Paradise Dream Wedding did for us.

I decided to get married in Hawaii and started looking at photos taken by photographers in Maui. Gordon Nash's photos made the most lasting impression on me. I sent an email to Jayanne and inquired about booking dates and was soon booked with Gordon Nash for January 2016.

Despite being far away, I found the planning process very easy to manage. Jayanne and I communicate very well through email and twice over the phone. Don't despair if she doesn't get back to you within 24 hours after your email. Sometimes it will be a few days before she responds as she probably has multiple wedding files to work on. As long as you are not a last minute person, it should be fine.

I was very transparent with what I wanted. Often, I will send pictures of things I like so that none of us are second guessing the other. Wedding photos are expensive and forever so it is best to communicate expectations clearly. I saw some of the photos on Gordon Nash's website so I told him I wanted the same shots as what I've seen on the website.

A Paradise Dream Wedding provided the photography, videography, flowers and arranged the hair and make-up, music, minister, limo.

I began planning our wedding almost two years ago after reading many reviews and seeing Gordon's work. When I stumbled across A Paradise Dream Wedding, I looked no further! I constantly checked the website and kept up with Jayanne's blog, watching as couple after couple got married and had their photos uploaded, dreaming of "our" day (May 4th, 2015)! Every picture seemed so gorgeous and I couldn't wait to see how ours would turn out. It is so amazing to finally have "our" pictures! Every time I look at them I am transported back to re-live all the emotions of that incredible day! It is literally overwhelming! I was amazed that we received all of our photos in less than 3 weeks and was absolutely thrilled to receive the sneak peek, which allowed me to have photo wedding announcements printed as soon as we returned from our honeymoon!

Gordon has an amazing gift and made us feel at ease the entire time. It was so special...we felt like we were on the set of a movie!

Mami was so sweet and very talented as well. She communicated with me the entire time after the wedding with updates and texts about our photos.

Brian worked his magic and we had a wedding video to share with our family and friends on the mainland that very evening...how does he do it?! I cry every time I watch it and so does everyone else!

Liz played the guitar beautifully and was definitely a wonderful addition to our day.

Ernest was the absolute perfect minister for us...the ceremony was everything we hoped it would be.

Shena was our on-site coordinator who guided us through the experience and helped calm the nerves and answer all of our questions the day of.

Andrea came to my hotel room and did my hair and make-up and helped me with my dress...she definitely got the day started off right and was so pleasant and friendly! I was very pleased with how my hair and make-up turned out.

Jayanne helped me plan everything and made it so easy! I don't know how she keeps track of everything and everyone!

We cannot wait to come back to Maui very soon and we are already dreaming of our 10 year vow renewal with A Paradise Dream Wedding!

A Paradise Dream Wedding is the best! We had an amazing experience working with Gordon. He was able to coordinate our favorite site, date, photographer, officiant, and all of the details. He was very helpful and efficient. The wedding day could not have been more perfect. I even saw a turtle in the ocean before the wedding. Thank you again.

Wedding Planner: We had Joanne as our wedding planner. She often took a long time (weeks) to get back to me. The catering, flowers, and lighting options that she offered were very expensive. When I told her that I had made my own arrangements for the food, bar, flowers, cake, chairs, tables, and lighting, she was not happy. We probably cut my costs by half by booking through someone else. I felt like she was taking advantage of the fact that I don't live in Maui and was unfamiliar with the area. Thank goodness for Google! Because we hadn't booked anything but the venue and photographer through her, she refused to do anything on our wedding day. However, she insisted that she must be at the venue until we leave since we booked it through her so we paid her to sit on her butt all night.

Photographer: We booked Ian to be our photographer after viewing his gallery on Paradise's website. He was not creative at all. He only had three poses: looking at the camera, looking at each other, and kissing. When we took family pictures, he didn't arrange us nor did he move the camera angle so some of the family pictures are not centered correctly and taken at an unflattering angle. He said he would photoshop the pictures that had a house in the background, but he didn't. He lighting and color was off in many of our photos too.

Bottom line: Do your own research and you can find some great companies to work with in Maui. Paradise treated me like a client and wasn't very friendly, professional, creative, or helpful at all.

I didn't start planning my wedding when I was 4. I didn't start when I first fell in love. I didn't start when all my friends seemed to be planning their own weddings. I didn't start when I acquired enough experience as a bridesmaid and maid of honor to add this to my resume. And I definitely didn't start when Pete proposed. When I did realize that the wedding wasn't going to magically happen without any effort on my part, I began to panic. I had no idea what I wanted. I didn't really care about the details. I just knew that we wanted to get married in Maui.

After looking at many, many wedding photographer websites in Maui, and many wedding planning sites, I found A Paradise Dream Wedding. My search ended the second I laid eyes on Gordon Nash's work. I was content with working with any company that was associated with Gordon. Even better, his company!

As this wedding was planned 100% long distance, I put my trust in the wonderful staff at A Paradise Dream Wedding. From the moment I spoke to Joanne Earles over the phone, I was confident that I made the right choice. She was personable and professional. Then I began to communicate with my coordinator, Jo Thurman, and I felt like my best friend was helping me plan my wedding. She helped me every single step of the way and she erased any stress or worry. Jo answered each of my questions promptly and thoroughly, and sent me a wealth of pictures of different wedding sights, reception sights, etc. She gave great suggestions but was never pushy and she happily supported my decisions. All the stress was taken out of planning a wedding, because Jo handled everything. And she did it so well! Pete & I simply had to show up.

A Paradise Dream Wedding coordinates the photography (there are so many amazing photographers, check out their portfolios on the sight), hair/makeup, the minister, flowers, the cake, catering, the reception, travel planning, and many, many more areas. I took advantage of just about every service, and it was nice to have everything covered like this. I trusted that A Paradise Dream Wedding was affiliated with great vendors, and my experience showed me they definitely are.

I cannot recommend the photographers enough. My hubby and I are super nervous in front of the camera, and quite unphotogenic, but our wedding album is full of gorgeous pictures from Gordon. He's amazing. Simply amazing.

My flowers were done by Dellables (by Della Peacock) and I was thoroughly impressed. I told her I wanted bright Hawaiian flowers. That's it. Upon further questioning, I sent her one picture of a bouquet I liked, but then added that I didn't love it, but maybe she could kind of get the idea. This poor woman had nothing to go on! I thought I didn't really care about flowers until I saw my bouquet. I was blown away by how beautiful it was. She made a bouquet that was more beautiful than I could have imagined and was exactly my style. Della made corsages and boutonnieres for several members of my family, and her work is just gorgeous.

From start to finish, I had an extremely positive experience working with the staff at A Paradise Dream Wedding. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to work with a very professional, extremely organized company who handles all the details, so you don't have to! I didn't think a wedding could be stress free, especially after seeing what some of my friends went through, but it completely can be. I know, because mine was!
