A+ Security Lock & Key

Do not call these guys if you're locked out of your home. They are not trained locksmiths. The pictures on their website of what looks like locksmithing tools are just pulled from the internet. It's a guy with a drill and a hammer and a lot of chutzpah. I called because they were close. The guy shows up and says "it'll be $200 plus $50 emergency response fee." I said, "It's not an emergency." He says, "Well, I got here in 15 minutes." It just got worse from there. I asked him to leave. He would not leave. He wore me out and I agreed on a price. Then he just took a crowbar to my door and used a common drill to destroy the lock to open the door. Unbelievable. Then I'm on the hook for a new lock.

He begged me to leave a good review. Said he "gave me a deal" in exchange for a good review. Gotta be honest, folks.

Very responsive. They have a booth on Robertson and Cashio that can duplicate keys which they do quickly and you can drive through without leaving your car. Super convenient.

Used them to change a couple of locks. Got there in 15 mins. Finished the job. Good folks to use.

They came out at a time when I needed trustworthy and fast service. The technician was friendly and amenable and was helpful in calming me down due to my security issues.

We got stuck after the door nob broke. They sent us a guy in 30min and fixed everything. It was a great help.

I contacted Nir to have someone sent to our home to fix some issues with 2 interior doors and 1 exterior. Nir said he could get a guy to come out immediately the same day; so he dispatched Myles to address our concerns. Truth be told Myles didn't notify me beforehand that he was going to be late but Nir was on him and made sure Myles was going to leave us happy customers.

Full disclosure, the job done wasn't done perfectly but let me tell you why I'm giving 5 stars. We live in a 100 year old house with 100 year old problems. It's hard enough to get skilled help let alone anyone to come to our house to fix its problems. I worked in the back-office for general contractors for over a decade so I know what is reasonable.

Myles, despite all of his faults, was extremely diligent and came through with what we needed to be done. He is a good listener and was very open-minded while being focused at solving problems. We didn't get the best possible solution but what's important is that we got solutions. We are now able to use doors that were unable to be opened before.

Additionally, Myles is very aesthetically oriented and selected good colors and positioned hardware very well. I was impressed with this attention to detail. We ended up spending quite a bit but I was very happy with both Myles/Nir and how they handled negotiations. They are both very value oriented and we definitely got it considering the amount of time, effort and struggle we all faced. It was "pear-fect!"

I also had a couple of keys copied at the other location and was able to dump a big bag of old keys for recycling. Thanks for eliminating all my lock and key problems!

I appreciated the fine quality work and considerate service from the locksmith. Front door deadbolt lock was failing.
Locksmith first called to confirm address and arrival time. I did not have to wait long.
He carefully listened to my concerns, then explained what he thought needed to be done after examining the lock and checking how it had been previously installed, before doing anything. Final decision was to change both locks.
The new locks are better quality than what was there before.
I am happy to have more reliable, safer locks.

We hired this company to install a latch lock on our door. In the process of the installation, they damaged our door, and put the lock up with scotch tape and cardboard paper. Turns out it was a poor installation... a few months later my 4 year old was able to open the door and the latch broke off. I called the business and gave them an opportunity to make it right. They would not stand behind their work and wanted to charge me even more than the first time to redo their faulty work. A lock & installation should last more than a few months. I was a loyal customer and would always go to their stand at Robertson/Cashio for making my key copies as I wanted to support a small business in the neighborhood, even if their prices were higher. Obviously I'll be going elsewhere now.

The service agent who came out to helps was very flexible on what time he could come. If you're locked out late at night he will come through!

If you're going to Get multiple locks changed here are a few tips to get an accurate quote:
- Count the number of locks you need to change
- how many are a deadbolt lock? Or a regular lock?

Having this answer ahead of time will help you get an accurate estimate.
