Aava Dental

It had been a while since I'd gone to the dentist and I figured I really just need to bite the bullet and go. I called Aaava Dental and they were able to get me in the next day! (Previous places I called had appointments up to a month out). I was actually running a little late to my appointment, but the staff was understanding and worked with me (honestly, I'm not a punctual lady, so I am used to getting an earful for being late from dr offices). The staff was very welcoming and super friendly! They remembered my name and got to know me a bit. The DR was gentle and informed me about what needed to be done and they went over prices (which were completely reasonable) before doing any work. I'm glad they did it that way, so that I knew what to expect for payment before they just went to town in my mouth.

Ever since I was a kid, I hated going to the dentist. But they made my experience a positive one! I would also like to note that he is not the type of dentist who will talk to you while he is working on your mouth. He is focused, but friendly, so he will talk to you, but when you want to respond, he'll let you do it without your mouth full.

I highly recommend this office! Especially if you have a fear of dentists, they will make you comfortable and ease your anxiety.

The office staff are extremely nice! Very helpful, warm and a professional practice. Noticed how clean the place was. They were gentle with X-rays and cleaning. Dr Saifee is amazing as well, took time to explain how things worked and made sure I understood the issues. He made sure that my dental issues were taken care of in a very small amount of time without delays from day 1 of consultation to the follow ups. There's also extra parking around the plaza which is very convenient.
I'm glad I consulted with Aava Dental. I would definitely recommend this practice!

One of the best dental experiences I have had. Their staff is kind, gentle , and efficient. I felt minimal pain the process was smooth and done in a surprise short amount of time. I felt very confident in the team and Dr. Handling my care and the Dr. And staff answered all questions and concerns I had and I had alot of them. I strongly recommend this place for your teeth care. I can't say enough good things about this dentist office. The office staff, especially Brenda has made us feel so comfortable and happy for our entire family as patients. She goes above and beyond! The owner is also wonderful, they do so much work for the Unions and make sure everyone is well cared for! I wish there were more establishments like this. They even have a seat with a play area in front so I can bring my child and she is content playing. Thank you Aava!!

I come to Aava Dental once a week it's always a pleasure to work with such a caring, dedicated hard-working professional staff.... By alphabetical order Brenda Jenny and Nancy. They make it a pleasure to work and care for you guys.

I think the staff is very courteous and professional. However, if they see that you've got great insurance, you become a cash cow.

I called specifically requesting a cleaning because it had been years since I'd seen the dentist. I stressed this -- just a cleaning.

What I got was digital xrays, and an in-the-round sort of x-ray of my entire mouth and jaw. And a slick sales pitch about how everything in my mouth was terrible, needed to be redone, and so forth. Amalgam bad! Poisoning me! It went on. Very slick, as I said.

I was asked whether my mother used tetracycline while she was pregnant with me, because my teeth had a grey tinge and that's why. This was the deal-breaker. Because tetracycline didn't go into commercial use until I was in my twenties.

Was I ever going to get the cleaning that I requested an appointment for? Um, well, no, you need a special cleaning that you have to come back for.

For several appointments.

But while I was waiting I could have a paraffin hand wax!

They had a treatment plan prepared with thousands of dollars of work. Would I please initial? No. Would they give me a copy? Not unless I initialed.

Where was the cleaning that I requested? They hemmed and hawed. Took some time.

Some woman -- who wasn't introduced as a hygienist -- showed up to polish my teeth first. Before cleaning them. That seemed backwards from every other hygienist I've had. Here comes the dentist, angry now. He shoos the woman away and starts the cleaning himself.

Without suction.

I asked for suction and he handed me the wand. I could do it myself.

I said that usually hygienists hook it in the corner of the patient's mouth.

He'd had enough. He shooed me out, told me to go out front and make an appointment with the hygienist.

Total elapsed time of appointment: 2.5 hours.

I called my old dentist -- even though he's out of plan. I signed the paperwork to get my many films. Want to bet they get lost, or the dentist claims they were never taken?

Is always a nice experience to go Ava Dental they have an excellent customer services and the Dentist are awesome !! we being Patients since 2014 and we are very happy with them.

Had a good experience with Dr Armen and Dr Tabib for deep cleanings and my first root canal. Dental assistant made experience welcoming and Brenda the secretary explained breakdown of insurance well. Referred my boyfriend. I would recommend this dentistry.

I went in to fix a chipped tooth. Dr. Hassan filled it so beautifully and now my smile looks even better than when I came in! Jenny assisted Dr. Hassan and she was such a warm, kind member of Aava. She offered me a parrafin treatment for my hands while I sat through my treatment and I felt like a queen in a spa! It was incredible. I forgot that I was even in a dentist chair for a moment! All the staff here, including Vanessa and Brenda were so, so welcoming and super sweet. They treated me like family and made me feel so comfortable and calm. They even have coffee and tea if you wished! I would recommend Aava dental to everyone who are looking for any dental needs. They are amazing staff! I will definitely be back for my next cleaning!
