I called and asked them if they repaired LG refrigerators and they said yes. After much discussion about the error code and the fact that I had already manually defrosted the refrigerator as suggested by the LG app, we set a repair date. The technician arrived and confirmed it wasn't a frozen fan issue but required a fan replacement. He provided me with a repair estimate and said it could take 5 to ten business days to get the part. Later in the day I received a call where I was told they couldn't get the part. After some discussion as to why, it turns out they are not an authorized service center for LG and they had previously applied but were turned down. So I ended up paying over $90 for a service call when they knew they couldn't get parts. I consider this company dishonest and will never call them again.

Mrs. Lee,
We are very sorry about your frustrations in this matter. We are able to get the part it’s just on a back order from the supplier. We are certified to work on all brands, but since we aren’t “exclusive” to LG only we recommended you calling them in hopes they could expedite the part for you in hopes we could get your fridge fixed faster for you. Again, we can for sure work on any brand and so sorry if there was any miscommunication. We are here to help if anything arises. - Melissa B.Clarksville, TN01Jun 5, 2023
ABA was a great choice for my refrigerator repair! My technician (I believe it was JT) was fantastic. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my questions. They had to come back a second time (no fault of theirs) and I didn't have to wait long at all. A few days later they were here and everything seems great! I am more than pleased and will surely recommend them to anyone that asks.

I was notified when tech was on his way. Tech was polite and very professional. In addition, Danny was very knowledgeable and prepared; he had the part needed to do the repair. I am very pleased and will ALWAYS call ABSOLUTE BEST APPLIANCE!

Who makes a labor period different than a warranty period on a new part... Ridiculous
Called about my heating element failing, which they replaced less than 6 months ago. Told them that they had replaced the part and that we thought it was went bad, again. We scheduled to have technician come out. (Which we are thinking is covered)
HERE'S WHAT WAS MESSED UP... they didn't look up our account history while making the appointment to OBVIOUSLY check when the work was done in order to know if it was covered. (By saying it was replaced by them, is the obvious reference).
They came, pressed 9 buttons, and said your Dryer isn't drying.... I replied, "I know, that is why I called." Do you have the part to fix it, to which he replied no. It will take 5-10 business days and you owe 80 for today.... for a covered item???
Your receipt from 110 days ago says your part has a 90 day warranty and 30 days labor warranty...
WHAT'S EVEN MORE MESSED UP... if the part fails on day 35, they will bring you a part as a replacement (maybe charge you for visit) and then you have to put in the part...
Can you imagine going to a mechanic, having your transmission replaced with a 1 year warranty and the transmission fail 6 months later. When you tow your vehicle to them thinking that they will replace it, they say, "we have a 3 month labor warranty and you will have to put it in yourself, or have to pay to have it done again?" Who asks if a labor warranty period is different than a part warranty period, and even if it is, does the labor period only apply to fixed appliances, not item replacement (warranty period)?

Mr. Brown,
We are extremely sorry you feel this way, but unfortunately the info in your review in just not true. We provide a 30 day labor warranty which we will always honor, but the manufacturer is the one who warranties the part at 90 days. This is not the auto industry, but even they have a part and labor warranty that can vary. The appliance industry warranties things by parts and labor. We warranty our labor for 30 days because if it’s something we messed up then it will fail before then, and the manufacturer gives you 90 days because if it’s a fault to their part it will fail before the 90 days. In your case this part failed because your house was not vented properly which we gave you warning it would be a problem. It clearly stated this at the bottom of your invoice and was told to your family when the initial call was made. I even put in your invoice and told you guys to please call a professional vent cleaner so that there would be no possibility of a major house fire. We never want anything like that to happen. When you get a brand new appliance they honor the warranty for 1 year, and any replacement part for 90 days after that. The harassment to our office staff and cursing them is definitely unnecessary, and something we just can’t put up with. You failed to mention in your review that you didn’t get your vents cleaned as well like we advised back at the beginning of the year which is the reason the heater goes out, and you still had the pantyhose on the back of the dryer which is a major fire hazard. Our goal is to provide the best service we possibly can to every customer, but there are policies in place for a reason. If Lowe’s had a 90 day warranty on a product they sold and it broke after that warranty it would be the same scenario. We wish you good luck in the future.May 19, 2021Previous reviewA bunch of thieves!
110 days ago I had a heating element replaced by this company for my Whirlpool dryer. The heating element went out again and technician said that the site visit wasn't covered??? After he showed!
Oh, and the whirlpool genuine part was only covered for 90 days??? They failed to inform us that the part was outside of warranty when we called, hence we would not have had them come out. Why would we, to gip us again???
So that part, in a new dryer is covered for a year, but genuine replacement part is covered for 90 days???
The technician then continued to tell me that it was my fault because I didn't have my home exhaust piping cleaned since last visit.... wait for it, I didn't have the dryer vent connected to the house, I had a panty hose (which I cleaned regularly) on the end to catch what the main lint screen didn't.
He then told me about how the check vent light works like a backpressure safety, to which I told him that I haven't had come on since the heating element was changed... So no backpressure issues which he said causes lint to be forced behind a SEAL and will cause the heating element to fail.... all of which he is assuming, because he did no work NOR did he have the replacement part available on the truck, knowing the issue ahead of time. - Charise H.SoMa, San Francisco, CA01Jan 18, 2023
I was hesitant to call this company because of some the reviews, but I decided to anyway. I'm so glad I did. The gentleman who came out, I believe his name was Andrew, was very kind and knowledgeable. I needed my washing machine looked at and after telling him the issue he took his time and explained everything to me. He gave me a few options, some of which were costly, but he said my best bet would be to just get a new washer since mine had already been restored once. He didn't try to push repairs on me and gave me some brand recommendations. The experience was great and I will call this company again when my used dryer breaks.

Called them out, they seemed extremely nice and knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, definitely don't believe the quote was in any way trying to take advantage. Unfortunately they don't accept home warranties and I couldn't have them do any work but I was confident in them had they been able to accept the warranty.

We recently had an issue with our dryer. ABA was very prompt in coming to access. They needed to order a part with an estimated 3-5 days to receive. They got the part and was here to install immediately. They were great, very professional, friendly, and accurate. I was pleasantly surprised to have the owner doing the work. Our little dog even liked him. We highly recommend ABA for all appliances.

These guys are criminals. Do not use them. This is the absolute worst experience in trying to get our washing machine fixed. Do not use this company, they are rude and dishonest and will swindle you out of your money.
We contacted them a week ago to fix our washing machine. They came out and said they needed to order a part. They came back to install the part a week later. My wife came home and tried to run a load of laundry but the washer was still broken. She called Absolute Best Appliance and it turns out they didn't even fix the washing machine. They serviced the dryer which had nothing wrong with it. The office manager, Lori, claimed that I called to have the dryer fixed even though on their work order it says "does not drain in spin cycle". Not only did they claim that we had asked for the dryer to be fixed, but Lori was absolutely rude to my wife on the phone. My wife asked Lori to call me but she refused because she was "getting off of work in 5 minutes". My wife asked her if she could use those five minutes to explain to me what the technician had come to the house to do and she said, "why do I need to do that? What's the problem? you asked us to fix the dryer. He can call tomorrow" she was clearly trying to waste time and avoid calling me to explain why they came out and charged us a lot of money to fix something that didn't need to be fixed and leave our washing machine broken. My wife asked Lori to not waste time (Lori said she now has "two minutes") talking to her and to please talk to me and even said "my husband is trying to call you right now". As my wife is having this conversation with Lori, she is telling me to call the office immediately. I do, but no answer. I call repeatedly and no answer. Clearly avoiding any kind of resolution to us as a paying customer. This is clearly criminal since we had already paid them money to fix something clearly stated and even evident on their work order, called to file a complaint, and instead of addressing the issue, they did not answer the phone. They stole our money. Meanwhile, we continue hand washing our infant baby's clothes and burp rags as we have been for the last week. To cap it off, on the checks (that they cashed) from us for the repairs it distinctly says "washing machine", and I also told them I would place the payment on the broken washing machine.
This business need to be shut down immediately. We plan on filing a complaint and contacting the BBB. Listen to the negative reviews, do not let these criminals take your moneyHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Warren H.San Francisco, CA01Oct 16, 2017First to Review
