      Most disorganized people I have ever dealt with. Messed up appointment day, called me back multiple times to fix their input error, they did not use the number I gave as a contact, and I wasted 4 hours waiting for nothing. Found another electrician, and they already called to confirm. Absolutely will never call this place again.

      Pretty horrific customer service. I called very early this morning. Around 9am. They said they would have someone out by 10-11. At 9:38 the woman calls saying it will be 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I call and ask where the plummer is. She insists she said 45-90 minutes, she did not. She says that the plummer is arriving as we speak. 15 minutes later I call and say the plummer is not there. I voiced my upset that we had been waiting over 45 minutes even though that was the window we were given. She again insisted that she said 90 minutes and very rudely and quickly put me on hold. When she got back in the phone I cancelled. She was extremely rude! Even though she was in the wrong. Despite what she said, she did infact only say 45 minutes. I even repeated it back to her on the phone and she confirmed. She had also called my mother at about 10:20-30 and said 20 minutes. Still incorrect times. In addition even if she had voiced that the window was 90 minutes, that was at 9:30. It had been the full 90 minutes without anybody showing up. Not only was she extremely rude and disrespectful, the plummer finally called at 11:20. I said that we cancelled the service and that we were not very happy, seconds later he hung up on me. Avoid this business. They do not seem to care much about their customers, and lack professionalism. It's very easy to find other contractors who care about conducting good business. These people clearly don't.
      Do not recommend- stay away.

      WORST!!!

      I called for AC service just a simple job of hooking up a condenser but got the worst possible experience on the date of appointment.

      -No one called ahead of time to say that they are coming.

      -the employees looks like a hobo.

      -the have the worst advices on what you need?

      There's no need to change the location of the thermostat. But they want to do that. Costs money for nothing!

      They want to change the coil for the AC. There's nothing wrong with mine. They're brand new. I've had 5 others company cane over anf gave me bids already. None of them need to move the thermostat no coils changing needed.

      They want to have an electrician come over to do the work before they give me an estimated on the condenser. What the heck?

      I ended kicking the guy out and not letting him waste anymore of my time.

      THESE PEOPLE JUST WANT YOU TO DO ALOT OF UNNECESSARY THINGS TO RIP YOU OFF AS MUCH AS THEY CAN!!!

      STAY AWAY!!!

      The biggest issue we have had is with the communication and timeliness of the company. Gus was the main worker on this project and always had an excuse as to why they were constantly late. Myself, my roommate, and the other party involved missed time at work due to all of this. After we thought all of the plumbing issues were taken care of, it turns out that the shower head was broken in the process and after 2.5 weeks without a working shower a call was put in to Gus and he has failed to respond to the matter. Safe to say that we will never recommend this company to anyone we know. People beware!

      Finally realized I had a leak from under the house. No slab, there is a crawl space. Of course the leak was in the far lower corner. I contacted several plumbers, leak detectors, but the one who got back to me right away was Ace. They said they would have someone out the next morning. I chose 10;00 a.m. and he arrived on the dot!

      He crawled under the house and found it was a pinprick hole in the copper hot water pipe. Yikes, hot water has been spewing out for at least 3 days. Don't want to see the water or the gas bill this time, that's for sure. The initial bid I got was very high. We settled on $400.

      While he was here and I was choking on the $400, I got a call from one of the handymen I contacted last night via Nextdoor.com. The recommended Ideal Plumbing on Waring Road. He said they charge by the hour and they are above reproach. So I called them, the receptionist is too long-winded, but I finally got that they charge $118 per hour plus a $20 trip charge, with a one-hour minimum. But, even if they had someone here to view the situation and estimate the bill, they couldn't do it today. I finally caved for the $400 cuz the guy was waiting patiently for me and was very nice about everything. The actual job only took about 30 minutes or so, but it was done and maybe we'll both have a happier Christmas now.

      He was going to include a flush of my water heater for free, but when it came time for that he asked how old the water heater was ... I think like 12 years or so ... and he said with older ones it's probably best not to even mess with it cuz to disrupt the pressure, etc., it could cause more problems in the long run, so I didn't get that done. Also, I think I have a 30 gallon water heater and all that water would have to be drained out. I was going to have it go into one of my new trash cans to use to water the yard, but then that still would have been a lot of money for hot water, so didn't have it done.

      I am giving it 4 stars b/c the cost was so high, in my opinion. But they worked with me and I really appreciated that :-)

      I chose Ace Contractors due to their great reviews on Angie's List. That's a mistake I won't make again.
      My A/C stopped cooling, only blowing warm air. After checking my thermostat and filter, Raul checked the capacitor, and it appeared to have died. He replaced it, but it didn't solve the problem. He then offered to bring back a "kickstarter" unit that may or may not fix the problem. However, that part was not under warranty and no guarantees could be made. The best he could offer was a new $7700 unit.
      Next day I called Mark Kunkel heating and a/c. He came out within the hour and replaced the capacitor and both fuses for $125. My A/C works like a champ now.

      Horrible service and very unprofessional. They lack communication and skills. Never arrived as promised, unable to provide simple paperwork.

      I had 3 companies bid my job and Ace came in at a very reasonable price. After reading some other reviews, I guess I got lucky to have Shane & Beth out to do my work. They are a great (husband & wife) team. Beth has an incredible knack for figuring out and reconfiguring duct work and Shane had a vast understanding of what the AC unit needed to function properly. I will say that communication wasn't the best with the dispatch and knowing when exactly they would be there, but because I couldn't beat the price, that part was OK.

      My sister called a while ago and talked to some man by the name of Ray. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and kept insisting to completely change something that he didn't want to come and look at in the first place. Don't bother this company, they just want to wring you for every cent. They're rude and not worth your time. You're better off going anywhere else.

      had a plumber to come out and tell me why when I turned the hot faucet on my roman-style tub, no water came out. Told me I needed to replace the cartridges and if I replaced them both (hot and cold), I'd get a discount on the second one. He "looked up part costs" and came back with a total of $450.50. The guy seemed really honest and professional so I figured this is what it should cost. I later went to Fuller's Plumbing in Chula Vista and talked to the sales folks there. They set me up with two cartridges, new seats, and a seat wrench for less than $50. Took me 30-minutes of my time to do this myself after speaking with them, vs. $450.

      Don't bother with this company, they will try and take advantage of you.
