Aces Towing

Great towing service, they helped me out during easter weekend when my car got a flat. Rather than just dropping me off at the auto shop that was trying to sell me a brand new tire, Jamie spent the time to examine the tire, realize we could plug it, used his own plug and taught me along the way with no charge. Rest of the guys at the shop were pleasant as well. Definitely will be my go to shop for whenever i am in town.

They are one of the worst towing companies. They are very disrespectful and rude as hell. They don't answer the phone or when you text they block you. They told me that my car was parking in a "No Parking Zone" there are no signs anywhere at Hardy Drive Stating that it is ! They won't even let you get things out of car. I will not pay for an unauthorized tow . Charges have been filed for "Stolen Property"

Let me rectify all the different reviews here. There are a ton of negative reviews, and most of them are about them towing cars which makes sense why people would be frustrated.

I got my car serviced by them recently, and they did everything I wanted to get done, for WAY cheaper then anything in Charlottesville. He even showed me the receipts for the parts he got. He got it done the next day.

It was a quick service. Jamie was a genuinely nice guy. Was he a little dishonest with the times he gave? For sure. However, he still got my car fixed fairly quickly.

Minus the car smelling a little like weed upon pick up, and the towing time and repair time longer then he kept saying, I'd say it was a job well done!

They towed the wrong car when called for UVA student apartments this weekend and left the correct car parked illegally in a spot.

I would do zero, but as you see there is no zero! This place is a scam. Go through apartment complexes and tow cars that are residence! Then charge a price higher because they tow in the late night! The complexes are contracted with them! Told you can not pick up until after hours, and being charged more also! I had a rental car where the apartment sticker fell off it was off our car that was in n accident a couple of days prior. They were the rudest people. When my daughter went to get the car, the guy was the rudest and They did not even offer a receipt!!!!!! Go to Charlottesville Wrecker for your service!!!!!

Predatory towing practices. Shady, be careful where you're parking in Cville! My recommendation pay to park in the garage. Not any parking lot.

This company should be shut down immediately. I sat for two hours with an elderly couple (one with special needs) in a hot car, in the middle of July. They never showed.

After given a very specific address, I had to call them to see where they were and they were 45 minutes away claiming they thought that was the location I meant. I asked what their ETA would be (knowing how far away they were but testing their honesty) and they told me they were 20 minutes away. I didn't have it in me to argue so I said okay. 20 minutes went by and no answer when calling again. They never came. I sat for an hour and a half calling them. They never came or called back. I texted the owner the next night and he said "things happen" as an excuse for his dishonesty, and lack of any morals. I will have this business closed by years end.

We had a project in the area. Which required having a scissor lift moved to multiple locations. They were available 7 days a week. They stayed on call. Every time my crew called they answered right away. The service was spot on. No long waits no excuses that they couldn't come. I will definitely use them if I have another project in the area.
They were very reasonably priced. I deal with a lot of towing companies. They definitely were on the cheaper side. Helps reduce expenses and I appreciate that.

Repeatedly told me they would be there in a few minutes. Never showed up! Hung up on me when I called to ask about it later.

These people had me stranded in another county because they led me on about meeting me at the garage to get me car after they towed . I stayed up all night calling them they would tell me one time after another and lie each time. Finally at 9am when picking my car up one of the men said 150.00 was not enough money to provide any type of customer service . They were absolutely stoned and could barely talk straight . Been calling for hours and no one would tell me who managment is. Scary , dangerous and I pray to never cross paths with these people again .
