Air Pro Heating & Air Conditioning

Our HVAC stopped working one morning this winter and the inside air was 65 degrees when we woke up. I called the service number listed by Infinity and got connected to Airpro. The team (one experience tech + apprentice) arrived within an hour and were able to diagnose the issue within a few minutes. They were knowledgeable and professional, and answered all our questions. The issue was fixed within 20-30 minutes and our heating was working again. The price was also very reasonable for a home service call and we were very happy with the result. Will definitely call them first if we ever have any HVAC issues in the future.

So after years of putting band aids on our 14 year HVAC system it finally died. Faced w/ the daunting decision of getting a new system we found Air Pro. From start to finish they were professional and knowledgeable about what we needed and what was the best package for us. No upselling, I wanted to go up in tonnage and they explained to me why that was a bad idea and would not work for our home.

Mike came out to provide check out a failed heat pump, and provide a quote on a new system. He was able to fix the heat pump issue (simple fuse blown), but he never sent the quote to me.

After my husband bugged me about scheduling an A/C check up for our new house (remember husbands can nag too), I looked up a few different companies and settled on Air Pro for the very arbitrary reason that they were based close by (also in Oakton).

Scheduling a service was easy. I explained that it was the beginning of summer and that we wanted to make sure our A/C was operating well before shelling out big bucks on summer cooling. The gentleman on the phone was polite and seemed to understand exactly what we were looking for.

The technician, Robert, came out within the allotted 2-hour time slot (always appreciated) and worked thoroughly and efficiently. He found no problems, but made a few recommendations. We decided on a service plan which included a scheduled A/C check for summer and a heater check for winter.

We had the same great service from Robert for our winter Heater check up, but not the same good luck. Unbeknownst to us, part of the heater had not been functioning thanks to some faulty fusible links requiring their replacement. Thanks to the service plan though, there was 10% off our total bill including parts and labor. Any little bit off helps when you're having to shell out for unexpected expenses. In addition, there were no hidden charges or increases after receiving an estimate for the work.

We will certainly use them again for any HVAC needs.

I don't normally do reviews but over many years Air Pro has just been the best company for our home. Over about a decade, usually right when it is the hottest time of year, we had to call Air Pro to fix an AC issue. They have always responded same day, usually within a few hours. We have a contract with them and if we forget to call they for the twice a year contract then they usually call us to schedule. They are always clean, on time and really know how to diagnose heating/AC problems. Top-tier service organization. We highly recommend them.

Air Pro has been servicing our AC and and Heating for several years, including installing our new AC system a few years back. I trust Mike's expertise and attention to detail, and Air Pro has always taken great care of our units. This past weekend, we had a problem with our system, and Mike got back to me very quickly on a Sunday night. He stayed with it until, the problem was resolved and we got our heat back on. I recommend Air Pro.

We used Air Pro to fulfill our Air Conditioning maintenance and issues the last four years. We worked with both Mike and Rob and both of them were always professional, knowledgeable and timely. We have dual A/C units and in the past year have needed servicing on one of them and had to replace the A/C unit servicing for the upstairs unit. There were some electrical issues with the install and working with our systems, but Mike was able to troubleshoot and figure them out.
The costs were very reasonable and fair. We appreciate their efforts and will continue to work with them.

We bought a new house and our inspector recommended a full HVAC servicing based on a few issues he saw.

I found the Air Pro tech that came out to be very focused on sharing his credentials and hearing himself talk to the point that I had to keep bringing him back to topic. The whole visit took well over an hour and he didn't really do anything except for in the 10 minutes at the end when he did a few small maintenance things. But I kind of had to say, "ok, so would you please go ahead and do that?" instead of having him just _talk_ about it more.

It turned out that we didn't have any actual issues with our system, which is nice, but he talked so much about so much that I had to work to understand his assessment. He emphasized that only "masters" like him are competent to do or understand HVAC things, but he also couldn't explain things clearly to a measly non-master like me and didn't earn my trust.

With all that said I probably would have given 4 stars since he didn't really do anything wrong and he only charged me the $90 visit fee. But he also recommended a fix to a vent regulator outside by our meter. This week I learned from Washington Gas plus a plumber (who is authorized to fix gas line stuff) that the fixed needed out there is essentially a $1 part swap out. The Air Pro guy clearly said the fix wouldn't be simple, requiring rerouting the piping to make enough room for the new regulator, needing some special parts and significant time, etc. Today 3 minutes and $1 part later, I have the fix done by someone else plus a Washington Gas inspector's sign-off on it.

I don't expect to use Air Pro again.

I needed a whole heat and air system replaced in my home. After calling several other companies, Mike was the first with a genuine concern for my needs, not trying to over sell me on stuff I didn't want or pressure me to buy now.

Mike evaluated my present system and provided me with an estimate that was competitive and explained the cost saving benefits of the new more efficient system over others that I had been offered.

The installation was done on time and they cleaned up leaving no trace.

I will definitely use them for my regular services.

I needed to update my system desperately; I called several local companies for estimates. All of the estimates where very close to one another, I mean within $100 or so but Air Pro's knowledge of the new systems on the market was extraordinary. Air Pro is very much into sustainability and being "Green", I was sold! They showed up on time, did a very professional and clean job and got me up and running within a day!
