Albano's Pizzeria

This is by far my favorite Chicago classic dish! I have put so many people into this Chicago delicacy and it never disappoints. I ordered a beef with mozzarella and hot peppers! Omg it was a time! I'll be back home in January! Lol

The pizza puff I ordered was really good but a little pricey. the problem I have is with the phone employees sitting on the counter top and eating and walking in the kitchen to talk with the cooks . I've worked at other restaurants where no one from the phone area was allowed in the kitchen where food is being prepared and another thing I didn't like was that they still had a copy from the old owners clam to fame of the 101 places to eat in the United States

The worst experience of my life was going to Albano's pizzeria on Roosevelt. I ordered pizza for my team at work. I was told to expect it by 12 (noon). at 12:19pm, no pizza, call the restaurant and, they would pick up the phone and immediately placed on hold before i could say a word. after 5 minutes on the phone without anyone coming back to answer any questions. Get in my car and drive to the restaurant, only to get a call from the driver as i am exiting the car, saying he is at my office building. return to work, only to discover, the driver is at the wrong location. waited another 10 minutes for him to discover where to go. driver finally shows up with my (3) large pizzas. The driver was very kind and Apologetic, he offerd me a 2 liter soda. called the restaurant, no one could assist me, the person that answered that phone "Jesus" didn't know the manager's (Kim Spencer} name and didn't say much. not trying to assist at all. I will never go to this place again. If you enjoy paying for bad customer service and mediocre pizza, this is the place for you. However, i refuse to spend another $98.08 on this place.

Love their pizza puffs!!! Really good pizza as well.Can't wait to go back.BYOB.Been eating Albano's for decades.So glad this spot is still around.Long life customer originally from Cicero.Live in Chicago now but still like coming back to the old neighborhood.

The food is usually good but the last time I ate there kids were playing and walking in and out kitchen area .I was concerned if my food was clean and safe .kids needs to be kept out the cooking area also a young guy was cooking he took off his had and rub sweet from his forehead I didn't see him wash his hands .I am not sure if it's new people running the restaurant but wasn't happy I haven't been back !

Expensive! Not worth it! They took over 40 minutes with our order because they forgot. Customer service is horrible. Pizza puff was not cooked from the inside, the sausage was frozen. Please save your money and go somewhere else. !!

This is my second time at this restaurant. The food is amazing. I have had the loaded cheese fries and I have also had the Italian beef twice and it hasn't disappointed yet it is clean the people working are super friendly and a good time I would highly recommend calling your order in because the meals are made fresh and takes a little while. Highly recommend

Food Is Ok..... Sometimes Rude When Calling In To Order They Just Hang Up On You It's happened more than a few times with me anyways

Negative stars! New owners new name have mama Lunas now smh don't know how to listen when placing an order even if u call they don't offer any type of credit or percent off for their mistakes!! Shit is bull for real the food is nasty taste old sausage in the puff that was only supposed to be cheese was not even seasoned and tasted freezer burnt to get ur money back or discount they want products back even if you live 40 minutes away they do not care bc they got their money... just don't waist ur time or hard working money

The second time my order has been wrong. There are way too many kids working in here that are stupid and unprofessional. I will not be back. I can spend my $50-$80 elsewhere.
