they are not local as they claim they are which to me is very deceptive. Do not recommend.

Thank you Chris! My grandpa was so thankful for the help you gave him with his electrical issue that he made me write this review LOL. The outlets on an entire wall in the kitchen weren't working and we suspected it had to do with some wiring which Aleco confirmed but because it was a more complicated issue that they weren't prepared to do, they suggested we call our electrical serve provider instead. And the best part was they didn't even charge us for the diagnoses while I bet other electricians wouldn't have hesitated to take advantage of my grandpa and charge over $200 for pretty much showing up and checking things out.

Their kindness does not go unnoticed!

The site visit began well with the electrician, Mike T., thoroughly reviewing our electrical panels and load and discussing the options. However, the site visit took an unexpected turn when Mike offered to sell me electrical outlet insurance. Such insurance would cover the replacement of all of my 110 volt electrical outlets, which he said should be done every 18-25 years. I was skeptical. Our home just happens to be 23 years old, which would fit the insurance profile. I declined the insurance offer.

Later a simple check with ChatGPT confirmed my suspicions. There is no need to replace perfectly functioning 110 volt electrical outlet merely because they are old.

Needless to say, Aleco Electric's bid, was $2,592 and I had the work done for $1,500 less by an electrician I trust who didn't try to sell me an insurance policy for my electrical outlets. I hope potential customers don't fall victim to this scam. Buyer beware!

I needed a job that required switching two 120VAC wires from one set of contacts to another. They asked for $600. The job takes about 10 minutes. That works out to $3,600 per hour. Not bad, if you can get it

Rarely do I leave a five star rating on anything however my experience with this company certainly deserves it. We needed to install a 220/240 volt outlet in the garage for electric vehicle charging. After receiving several bids which were literally all over the map, I felt comfortable hiring Aleco to proceed with the installation.

Technicians Damien Cruz and Elias Rodriquez showed up on time and proceeded to determine what exactly needed to be done and went right to work. The job was ponderous however I could tell that this wasn't their first rodeo and that they had everything well under control.

At every juncture they kept me apprised of what they were doing and made recommendations that they thought were appropriate which I very much appreciated, as with electrical - safety is always the primary concern.

Not only was the cost competative, at the completion when I plugged in - everything worked perfectly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to install a Level Two electric vehicle charging station at home or any other electrical job they might need. Thanks Aleco for your terrific work.

I am very disappointment on their work. The guy that came was very nice but he didn't do anything. So they charge 299 after 5pm and then 67 for half and hour and minimum 1 hour so I payed 437 but all he did was try to locate where the problem was. he didn't even take out any outlets or checked anything he just looked. And said the problem might be up in the attic with the collections there that he can't go there and that was after 15 minutes of just looking. And charged us 437 for that. Absolutely insane ! I wouldn't recommend this electrician to anyone ! A waste of time! And money! And now I still have to figure out why I don't have electricity in my living room.
They never clarified on the phone anything so I assume they would fix it or not charge me if they can't. So that was my bab but still HE didn't do anything !

Replaced a circuit breaker. I had sticker shock. Late arriving. Service was on a weekend holiday. Took the call when others off or booked.

I am so pleased to have an opportunity to write a review for Aleco Electric. Jayson came as scheduled today and what a great guy! He was very professional, courteous and communicative. He was able to fix my issue and since he was here I asked him to look at something else. He sent me a quote to my email in less than a half hour.

I will definitely will have Jayson return in the near future to fix the electrical issue in my sheds.

I have to give my experience with this company a poor rating and would not recommend them.

I called for help diagnosing my low-voltage garden lights after they suddenly stopped working after 12 years. I thought my transformer finally went out, so I bought a new one, but after trying two new ones, the "A" (auto) button would go out after 30 seconds.

Carl from Aleco came out and was just as baffled as I was about my situation. He told me he would have to go home and research the issue. He said he would also contact some landscapers he knew and would call me back, but I never heard from him again.

I bought a different transformer, and the "A" (auto) indicator stayed on, but the lights still do not work. I replied to the original text Aleco sent me advising them I still needed help with the issue, but again, never heard back from them.

This is a poor way for a business to operate, so I would not recommend using them.

We needed a full 1918 house in Berkeley rewired in a hurry. We had Aleco of Vacaville,CA do the job. We had a great crew of 2 men,Ubaldo and Eduardo who were amazing. They worked fast and well. They listened to all of our needs and did them all to our great satisfaction. They did high quality work. They were enjoyable to work with. They also did a great job of cleaning up every day.
We highly recommend this company.
