Interesting little outdoor market. There were several vendors selling handmade good like trinkets, soaps, clothing, bags, jewelry, coconuts, and more! They also have a shop that sold kona coffee and shaved ice! Sadly, the shaved ice was sold out already when we got there around 2:30pm.
I do feel like a few stores sold goods that were similar to ones that I purchased before from china and not actually goods they made or even represented hawaii.
The vendors were very friendly and often made small talk with us. We probably only spent about 30 mins to an hour there, but it was a nice stroll.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 8Oh no 0 - Mar 4, 2023
Yeah, so this is not a Farmers Market.
Today it was one pretty decent produce stand. There were limited local offerings. One booth sold toe thongs, which let's just say it, are tacky. Like cocktail waitress at the drive bar downtown tacky. Another sold the giant coconuts painted with NFL insignia. They'd never fit in your luggage. One was painted with Chief Wahoo, the grinning and blatantly racist native American caricature that even the Kansas City Chiefs abandoned.
The other spaces were filled mostly with cheap crap that was imported from China, much of it Hawaii themed.
This is not about farmers, and it feels generally icky.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - Lily B.Santa Maria, CA0367Nov 15, 2023
This place was like a mini farmers market. It was okay but also not great. If you are in the area and have nothing to do I would stop

Shopping!!
I didn't realize how close this marketplace was to our resort at Kailua Kona ... just a mere 0.4 miles (1 min drive). The problem for us was finding time to shop, we spent most of our time out of the area and this place was only open from 10:00a to 5:00p. On our last day, before flying out the next day, we were able to find some free time and stopped by here. Yay! Shopping!
This is a tiny open-air marketplace situated in an outdoor garden setting with about 20 vendors. Free parking! It was fun stopping by the different vendors just looking until something interesting caught my eye at Jill's Hot Stuff (booth). My mom and I ended up purchasing something from this vendor.
Hubby and I cooled off with shave ice from Da Shack by Ohana Q. We relaxed at their outdoor seating area while I enjoyed my yummy strawberry-colada & banana shave ice!
Then before leaving and heading out to our car we ended up at OOFOS®. Recovery Footwear... OOmg! these were some fancy and expensive footwear! But they are so soft and comfortable... Mom and I ended up getting a pair of flip-flops (me) and slides for Mom.
'Nuff shopping for the day...

Final spot to hang out in and do some touristy shopping. If you have gifts for people back on the mainland or you just want a T-shirt this is your spot.
There isn't a huge selection of produce or other edibles, but there are lots of painted coconuts and shell necklaces and fancy soaps.
There is coffee and ice cream and other snack foods available. Great location, friendly people.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Rita A.Houston, TX02Sep 1, 2023
I love coming to this Marketplace every time I am in Hawaii. My first stop that I LOVE to visit is Jenny's Gift Shop The Hawaiian made products here are so COLORFUL & DURABLE! All my friends and family back home just love the aprons, bags, placemats and coverups. Jenny is such a sweet person and is always ready to wait on us wl the Aloha known to these islands.

This is a super sweet little market to pick up local art and souvenirs if you're visiting Kona. But we loved a new business Snack Attack the most!! Butter, the owner, is brilliant and she's got an incredible combination of specialty local and classic soda, candies, cookies, snacks and gifts. We grabbed cool local sour patch kids, Hawaiian sodas, taffy and brownies--and I got a great cooler. We love Snack Attack!!
