All Weather Decks

The entire process was really easy. Our Sales rep, JD, made the experience worthwhile. He was very professional and very responsive to every question or request that we had. He never left us hanging, even after the project started.

The crew was equally amazing. They were very professional and communicated with us every step of the way.

This was our first deck build and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend All Weather Decks for any project and would highly recommend JD.

Armondo the project manager went above and beyond. He answered middle of the night texts. Every time I had an issue he made it right. He listened and he performed. It made all the difference in the world. The pricing was middle to high. I feel like the quality build of the deck, and the customer service that I received were reflected in the price. The deck is beautiful and beyond what I had envisioned when I started. I wish it cost less, but i received what I asked for.

We worked closely with Brett Gibbs from All Weather Decks. He did a superb job listening to our needs, understanding our budget, and proposing an affordable solution. AWD is not the cheapest option but we got 3 bids in total and AWD was in the middle of the 3. That's not why we chose them; in the end, we felt Brett gave us a better design.

The construction went very smoothly. They had to tear out a 20 year old wood deck, cut out concrete to set new footings, dig out a retaining wall to add other footings, and pour additional concrete slab (to replace some ugly stone that was under part of our old deck. They were very diligent with everything. It was a mess, but an unavoidable mess. Everything was hauled away very soon after the demo was done.

For our new deck AWD installed Deckorators (Voyage) Eovations decking (a PVC based product) and Westbury powder-coated aluminum handrail. We had lights installed on the handrails and an electric circuit installed for a soon-to-be-built-by-the-owner grill island. They also installed a gas line to two spots for a future fire pit and an under-deck space heater.

They also installed an aluminum, rain-out under deck ceiling that's been very nice to have. It diverts the rain out from underneath through a downspout in one corner. Keeps it nice and dry underneath the deck. So far it's been a wonderful addition. I like to do carpentry work on the weekend and I just wheel out my table saw or whatever and work underneath, rain or shine. You should definitely consider this option.

We had a few issues during the construction that AWD's crews had to address, mainly around the retaining wall. Brett got it all taken care of, always at no additional cost (even though the fix went beyond what was probably expected). Also, we're purchasing our own ceiling fans for underneath the deck and Brett said his guys would come back and install them since they did the pre-wire. So I'm very confident in AWD's follow through on things that inevitably come up on any construction project.

So, all in all, my wife and I highly recommend All Weather Decks and, in particular, Brett Gibbs. I'm sure they have others there who are just a good, but Brett's been our guy from start to finish and he responds almost instantaneously to email, phone, text. Easy to reach and very professional.

Amazing I am by no means an easy client and all weather decks specifically Armando Morales's team handled every single detail that I communicated with them with so much attentiveness, patience and grace. If I have a question, Armando would not only answer my phone calls or texts he would often stop by to explain why we can or can't do it. His team was fantastic, quick, efficient and got the deck done in no time. We have already gotten so many compliments on our deck and cannot wait to enjoy it during the summer.

I had just purchased a home that was 35 years old and needed three decks attached replaced. I met with Brett, sales representative, reviewed many options for decks today....and moved forward with them. The schedule they provided up front stayed solid, Brett stayed with me the entire process to answer questions and update me on progress. First Class service, beautiful work with minimal disruption to home, yard and neighborhood. (Most neighbors said they never heard them working) This is a big decision and I recommend them as they know what they are doing and you won't be disappointed.

Overall, I was very frustrated and confused by my interactions with the staff and sales team at All Weather Decks and would not recommend their work to a friend. The final product (a poured, stamped concrete patio) turned out pretty well, and the actual crew members were very polite and diligent (although the project cleanup was lacking). However, the sales team/project managers seemed to be lacking both in customer service ability as well as knowledge or experience with building and designing patios.
The company seems to get mostly positive reviews, so perhaps my experience isn't the norm. I hope that's the case. At one point, I requested someone higher up in the company come and discuss my project, which he did and I appreciated. However - big picture - people like me who are dropping a lot of money on something that will be part of their home for a long time should feel like the company they're working with values them and actually knows what they're doing and cares about doing a good job. That wasn't the case with my experience, which is why I wouldn't recommend All Weather Decks.

Truly a pleasant experience with All Weather Decks. The craftsmanship is incredible. The service is second to none. I could recall several, but the one that stands out the most is this. Days before starting the tear down of our old deck, a couple of baby robins hatched in the nest under the flooring. I contacted Cass and asked him to take care of the babies. Not only did they move the nest carefully, they also built a makeshift hut. The babies thrived and eventually left the nest as adolescent robins. Thank you Cass and All Weather Decks for the truly incredible deck. It is beyond our expectations and will be enjoyed for many many years to come.

I contacted All Weather Decks in early May to discuss demolishing my existing deck and gazebo and replacing them with a new covered screened in deck. Brett Gibbs was my sales contact and he visited me shortly thereafter. He did a good job of describing my options and what my new deck might look like. He came prepared with samples of the various materials involved and helped me settle on the right materials and colors for the project. He also suggested a visit to their supplier's showroom which resulted in fine tuning the selection of materials. I am very pleased with the choice of colors and materials.

Brett was very helpful in providing me with the drawings and information I needed to have my project approved by my homeowners association. I received that approval promptly, however, we encountered a permitting issue with the city, which had nothing to do with All Weather Decks. Brett was very helpful in getting the issue resolved including some associated redesign.

Construction began in early July and my primary All Weather contact was changed to another person. Communications with All Weather then became almost nonexistent for the next 6 weeks of the project, there were problems with passing city inspection, a roof leak and finally I learned that the person I was working with was no longer with the company. At this point I called Brett, who was my only remaining contact with the company to find out who I should be working with and he assured me that he would personally handle my project to conclusion. He did exactly that. He followed up on resolving the inspection issues, got the roof leak and associated roofing problems corrected and drove the project to completion, albeit about 3 times the total duration that I expected. While not perfect, communications with me were much improved after Brett became personally involved. He kept me informed on the project status and instilled confidence that the project would be successful. The result is a deck that I am very happy with and am enjoying.

I enjoyed working with Brett and appreciated his commitment to the project beyond the sale. He always responded promptly to my concerns, even outside of normal business hours, and always did what he said he would do. He was there when I needed him to be and should I do another project with All Weather, I would ask that Brett Gibbs be assigned to my project.

All Weather Decks builds a solid deck at a fair price. There were some delays and communication issues but at the end of the day, we are totally satisfied with the end product. We absolutely love our new deck, it's everything we hoped for. Must add, the AWD crews were fantastic. Friendly, conscientious, cleaned up every night, really good guys to have around. If you hire AWD, don't wait for them to communicate, you will need to drive that part of the process. Hold them accountable for dates, plans, details. There are some interesting characters in the deck building business, I'm glad we chose AWD and we recommend you do the same.

Very poor customer service. Had to call to let them know I hadn't received bid then after I received bid and let them know that I had a couple questions they never responded. And I was ready to sign a contract. Had to use another company with real salespeople and true customer service.
