There are quite a few good Chinese Foot Massage places in Seattle. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. Oh, where to start...

This is your typical type of setup with about 5 chairs in a room. The woman who helped me did not speak English very well, but that is about par for these types of places, and I typically find that it is a good sign. Well, she sat me down in a chair, and that is where it all started going wrong...

She brought over a bucket of scalding hot water, and plunged my feet into it. Now, I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, so when I say it was hot, I mean it was HOT. I think if I had kept my feet in it, I would have gotten first degree burns. Then she walks off, and starts texting for about 15 minutes. At most other places, they would massage other parts of your body while your feet soaked in nice warm water, but not here.

When she finally came over to start massaging my feet, it was obvious that she did not know what she was doing. She only knew how to massage with one hand, and only a couple of spots at that. I mean really...she massaged the right side of my left foot, and the right side of my right foot. She just kept doing the same thing over and over. And, as if that was not bad enough, she kept texting the whole time.

      Overall, a very poor experience...
