Speeding, tailgating, rapid unsignaled lane changes, and speeding through center lane to pass multiple cars. Driver of car 8 is unsafe in every way. If you value your life, don't use this company.

I am local to the Huntsville Alabama area. I cant remember ever having to dial up a ride until recently. My auto went down and needed a reliable ride to work. my first ride was on time looking all cabbie. They were on time! My second and later rides where with very nice professional drivers in nice non cabbie wheels. I am a government employee. I appreciate their service and if I ever need a ride to work again? They are in my phone.

,the driver took advantage of a senior citizen,What he didn't know I have tracking on my phone.A 2.5 mile trip caused her $30 .The cost should have been only $10.The person that send the cabs out was very understanding. The guy also lied, saying my mom went several places, again I have her location on my phone and hers,I hope he had a blessed Thanksgiving.CAB #8

I called American Cab twice this week to go from my hotel to the Space and Rocket Center and back.
The first cab had a metal and plexiglass divider between the front and back seats (perhaps a re-purposed police car). It severely limited leg room. It made seating uncomfortable and getting in and out of the cab difficult. But even worse was that not all the seat belts worked. Had there been an accident or a quick stop, my head would have hit that metal divider. A serious safety problem. Finally, the driver made a wrong turn near the Space and Rocket Center, then admitted the he had never been there before. He had never been to the largest tourist attraction in Huntsville ?
The second cab also had two inoperable seat belts in the back. When we reached our destination we discovered the back doors wouldn't open from the inside. The driver lowered the rear windows and told us to reach around to the outside door handle and open the doors. It was a bit of a contortion to do it. I had to ask him to lower my window all the way so I could reach it. I wish I hadn't given him a tip. He shouldn't have had the rear door in the "kids" mode. Or at the very least he should have got out and open the doors for us.
I used another cab company for the remained of our visit to Huntsville.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nancy M.Seattle, WA116190162Apr 9, 2012First to Review
The last time I needed a cab to the airport, I tried scheduling a pick up in advance with a different cab company to disastrous results. This time around, I tried a different tactic, I just called at the time that I needed the cab. When I called the dispatcher asked me for my address, and cross-streets and phone number, the standard stuff. Then he proceeded to tell me there is a $20 flat fee to take me to the airport. WTF? The cab company I took last time didn't charge such a fee. In fact, for the last cab I took I got change back from a $20 after paying the fare AND adding a tip. Fine, whatever, just get here. He said the cab would be there in 10 minutes
About 10/15 minutes later I get a call from a cabbie asking for my address, and cross-streets and information on how to find me. Didn't I already give that information to the dispatcher? And you're supposed to be here already!
Half an hour after the first call I made the cab arrives talking about some intersection with an accident and I get in. The cab was pretty filthy looking in the back and the AC wasn't working, so all of the windows were at least half way open during the entire ride on a hot spring afternoon. This is what I'm paying a $20 flat fee for? No, thank you.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeff J.Colorado Springs, CO2321Dec 14, 2014
Took an hour for a pickup which is a bit much. Cab was clean and driver was nice and I was riding with my dog so that may have been what made the pickup take longer.

Great service. Was waiting at the airport ready to pick someone up and guess what? It was me,my husband, and our service animal. Earl was very polite and engaged in light conversation with us. If I need a cab again I would definitely use this company and would even ask for Earl again. Kudos!

HORRIBLE COMPANY YOU WILL BE LATE FOR WORK ! Horrible cab company they have more bad days then good .Even though most of the cab drivers are nice The dispatchers really don't care if you have to get to work even If you call 40-45min in advance. They know people who don't have transportation will call for a cab anyway so regardless their customer service isn't that great. And if you do have a complaint or call back concerned even in a pleasant tone the response is "well there is nothing I can do" Huntsville isn't that big to have to wait almost an hour for a cab . I've been taking this company for a while and if you don't have to then don't !! You will be late for work 8 out of 10 times!

Well let's see. Filthy cab, no working seat belts (Yes, I should have hopped out immediately) and the driver looked like a vagrant. I see Uber in my future.
